And even for 1, they could easily filter that out.
Do you really think that Netflix has a preference for non-Americans?
On one hand we say they chose Americans to pay less money on the other hand we see this absurd amount of money for a remote job
Why? Because this is not them looking to fill a position but rather trying to get a PERM for an employee that they are already happy with. We don’t even know if it’s H1B or L1
Not saying that the H1B program doesn’t have its problems, but this is not the case of let’s fill this job with non-Americans for less pay
That’s a hand waving if I’ve ever seen one.
How is that going to help?
If the Agent gets launched with is own user is will not have access to ANY of the files that are only read by the user.
Why is this on HN to start with and how the hell did it get to the front page?
Iron was already known to civilization during Bronze Age, but they didn’t know how to make it hard. Hence Bronze was preferred.
After, and because, of the Bronze Age collapse they started funding out how to make iron useful.
Think about it, why did the humans in Americas never went through Iron Age? Because they never had a Bronze Age collapse.
Also you are talking about Iron Age. Which came after and as a consequence of the Bronze Age.
Pure iron is utterly useless as a weapon. Look it up.
Carbonization was invented/discovered after the Bronze Age collapse, slowly over hundreds of years, exactly because they didn’t have access to bronze anymore.
Please name one
Genuinely asking
What a fucking moron
I’ve been doing a bit of reading on the Bronze Age Collapse recently. It was such an apocalyptic event that Greeks forgot how to write and read.
Before the collapse, Greeks were using Linear A and Linear B. It took them a few hundred years after the Bronze Age Collapse to learn how to write again, this time borrowing the Phoenician alphabet.
Imagine what an event would look like today that would take us back 200-400 years technologically.
100%
The market for a phone like this is extremely small and the price makes it even smaller.
We don’t know that. Only history will tell us who figured it out and why.
What I don’t understand is why there is a clear decision between decisions and delivering on decision, other than the artificial need to retain control.
I don’t see a real roadblock that will prevent AI making better devisions than humans.
An alternative would be the CEO to be the “legal person” of each Corp. and be the one against all legal actions should be targeted.
In that case it would Zack himself the one facing any legal action.
A Corp’s actions result to the death of a person. CEO should be trialed as if they were the one driving the car.
But the reality is different. First of all LLM were trained on current data, with the abstractions we currently use.
Secondly they suffer they same problems we do, their context size is way too small to just simply ignore abstractions.
