So it's Humble Bundle style, right? It could work if you have more than 1 item. https://www.humblebundle.com/

Thanks for the idea of option to purchase swag bag, we will think about it! Right now we only sell MAKE THINGS hoodies: http://store.makerland.org/

Speakers costs includes flights or hotels for speakers who wouldn't be able to attend otherwise.

Misc (Miscellaneous) are all other small costs like payment fees, or accounting, or hosting - small & boring costs like that.

I think there has to be a good balance and if we will go for all details, it'd be just boring for most of the people.

It's python and django. We will probably release it as open source soon.

It should definitely be a thing! I'd love to see a separate politics subHN. Or the one with all the Medium posts ;)

I saw Swift talk at DjangoCon and it is great - really thoughtful and inspiring, thanks for summarising this!

YESS!!

Works awesome, thanks for that! ;)

Wow, now I'm even more exciting to meet you Kenneth! ;)

Fixed, thanks!

Thanks ;) It's rather a simple script, but I've always wanted to read PG essays on my Kindle.

Thanks! :)

Man, it's Poland - comparing to the last DjangoCon in Zurich everything here is like at least 2 times cheaper. We think it's not about money (ticket price is not going to be higher because of that), but about fun + hard work + a little bit more engagement than in usual conference to make it unfogettable and extraordinary :)

Hope we can prove it to you!:)

Totally agree, especially with the conference part - that's why we are throwing the next DjangoCon Europe in a real circus: http://2013.djangocon.eu/ :)

I don't think so - I had my totally private messages visible publicly..
