What's my problem with the kind of bizarre "science" this article writes about? It's ethics. Not everything that's possible in science should be done. Creating monsters (and I don't just mean dinosaurs but creatures like fluorescent bunnies and mice with human ears) is not one of the things to do.
In case you only work 8h a day and then stay away from the computer please stand up and tell us how you do it (eating less?)!
The same curiosity as in watching crime scenes when it comes to "science" like this.
Some posts of mine have been submitted or popular on Reddit and each and every time they have been downvoted like crazy (for the topic I write about) and I have been flamed both in my comments as well as in the Reddit comments. I have never asked to be submitted nor di it myself there so the people made it on their own accord.
Also the bounce rates from there are awful, along 96 - 98% which actually mean that they just look at your page and downvote/flame without even reading.
When Obama became president the Poles mostly failed to call him African American stressing that the US has a "black president".
"Blacks" are still exotic in Poland even after a substantial influx of African refugees in recent years.
Even African players in Polish sports teams have to deal with racist attacks at sport events.
The image is very small, even the onclick one. Also "citation needed". There is no source for the Polish campaign. Where did you get the image from, are you in Poland right now?

The Microsoft monopoly has killed progress.
Seeing Apple blocking Opera from the iPhone and another behemoth, Google being the main contender I don't see a much better "mobile" future. The market will soon "consolidate" and another monopoly will make HTML dull again.
We need a really free web with really free software. I don't think the "mobile" one will be it. Maybe the "Internet of things" will be the one that frees us from the shackles of stifling monopolist corporate rule.
Also there is the issue of too broad text chunks known both in typography and usability for making reading more difficult.
Apart from that I tend to agree with you.
On a side note: I'm tired of the "Pull a Calacanis" type of headlines like "x is dead", "x sucks" or "x is bullshit".
Please come up with something better.
I don't think so. They rather take the design and produce and resell their own version.
