I was completely on board with the first year or so of all these restrictions. But I am done sacrificing my child’s well being to spare the elderly. If the vaccines work, then why are people still afraid? I believe they work, so I am not afraid. I don’t understand why even the most ardent vaccine evangelists are still cowering in fear if they truly believe in their effectiveness.
The case count has exploded so what? Just think how many people actually have it but never bothered getting tested because it was so mild. The death rate is the same/similar to when we had a fraction of the cases we currently have.
I would love to see how your children feel about that.
Similar logic: shutting down nuclear power plants and then complaining that there isn’t enough power.
More similar logic: allowing decades of fuel to build up on the bottom of forests and then expressing befuddlement when wild fires burn out of control.
What’s the common thread here?
I guess what I am saying is that either you are right and that can be extrapolated all the way up the chain to humanity. Or that you are wrong and you can apply free will all the way down the chain.
//sarcasm// But for treating covid that idea is preposterous.
Your internal dilemma seems self imposed. Even if it provides you a placebo effect, so what? And, look, triple vaccinated doesn’t mean much as it relates to catching or transmission of omnicron. Clearly it will protect you from dying but I know dozens of triple vaccinated people that had covid over the past couple weeks. You seem to understand this, which is why you are even considering the CBD. So order it online. Literally no reason not to if it will give you peace of mind.
Hell yes, stay out of the left lane unless you are passing. Everything else is a bit much though.
“WHERE DO HEAT PUMPS WORK BEST? Heat pumps are more common in milder climates, where the temperature does not typically drop below freezing. In colder regions, *they can also be combined with furnaces*for energy-efficient heating on all but the coldest days. When the temperature outside drops too low for the heat pump to operate effectively, the system will instead use the furnace to generate heat. This kind of system is often called a dual fuel system – it is very energy efficient and cost effective.”

Is this a thing, wanting to convince people to get rid of furnaces and hot water heaters? Are we replacing them with anything? Seems like an extremely tough sell, especially for people living places that are cold. Take the poor little boy who just died because his “family” forced him to take an ice cold shower in the middle of winter as punishment. This seems like the hairbrained idea of people who don’t experience seasons.
So does an omicron infection compared to delta, even to the unvaccinated. I am not an anti vaxxer, I have two doses of Pfizer in me. The vaccines are simply going to be obsolete in a matter of weeks/months because everyone is going to have gotten and recovered from omnicron at that point. It’s that contagious, it’s futile to try to avoid it. Get vaccinated if you are scared and move on with your life.
Also, I heard somewhere, and I forget where now, that hot smoke could play a role in this, but this study seemed to indicate it was orally bioactive as well. I would assume the in-vivo test wasn’t blowing hot smoke in a test tube but rather bathing in a cannabinoid solution?
I find it hard to believe anything in the article when it notes that Enterprise has a reputation for healthy culture…it’s a bunch of former frat boys who think they are salespeople but are really just sleazy con artist. And the you have to wear a white shirt and tie whilst cleaning out and washing vehicles. Also pretty misogynistic atmosphere in some of the branches. Worst place I ever worked.
This would made sense for Delta and the initial strains but ya’ll look a bit neurotic wearing N95 for omnicron unless you are already near death. It’s so damn contagious, when do we accept the fact that this isn’t going away and we cannot possibly wear masks forever?
Your risk calculus is out of whack.
