In Haxe i can pretty much do anything, run code, generate code, i even built an openapi doc on compile time just from types.
With AI, there is little need for PHP in 2026, even for the novice dev. The onl thing PHP had in the early 2000s was the FTP deployment story, but that has long faded. I van deploy a go binary WAY easier than a PHP application.
PHP will always be the slop before AI.
If they had opted for C# they could probably have been able to run it as-is today.
Some people like to live on the bleeding edge, and once again, that said, the Go runtime is just so good so you have a solid base, and can always eject from lisette by just keeping the generated Go source. That makes it a more safe language to choose.
Lisette has been pretty straight forward, with its good Go interrop and familiarity (i have ocaml experience). Tooling is GREAT for such a young language. Im also a huge fan of the recent addition of a "zero" value. No nils like you get in vanilla Go.
I tend to write libraries in Lisette i then import in my go "shell", thats more or less a main function with some setup.
Full (lisette->go->lisette) Go interrop is still a WIP, but im certain it will be improved upon soon.
Not sure why you would be that nitpicky for something so trivial?
Its not like immigrant X from country Y can vote willy nilly.
This is not rocked science. Every citizen is automatically allowed to vote, and IF you cant vote where you are supposed to you can handle this case specially.
Im having a hard time to understand what and who this is for.
