Interested in entrepreneurship, always seeking to learn how to build better software.
By that criterion, we shouldn't talk about a murder in our neighborhood, about our children failing at maths, about unemployment... War is worse than all these.
Also, it's not news when every headline every day is "more 150 people dead in war". You think people would keep watching the news, let alone caring about some war far, far away?
Would the "controversial routine full body scan" help? Specially to people who have a parent being an early stroke victim?
These things are scary as hell...
You better not, who cares about UML diagrams?
But startup code doesn't have to be messy. I don't write messier code (to be used in a company that pays me), just because I'm in a hurry, and neither should anyone.
TL;DR:
If a high-powered lawyer who makes $1,000 an hour chooses to take an hour off to help clean up litter on the beach, he's wasted the opportunity to work overtime that day, make $1,000, donate to a charity that will hire a hundred poor people for $10/hour to clean up litter, and end up with a hundred times more litter removed. If he went to the beach because he wanted the sunlight and the fresh air and the warm feeling of personally contributing to something, that's fine. If he actually wanted to help people by beautifying the beach, he's chosen an objectively wrong way to go about it. And if he wanted to help people, period, he's chosen a very wrong way to go about it, since that $1,000 could save two people from malaria. Unless the litter he removed is really worth more than two people's lives to him, he's erring even according to his own value system.
If he feels it's unfair that he makes so much more many than others, he should make even more and give out what he think is enough to make it fair.
Although it has Clojure (my target language), you still send code instead of an answer, and you get problems like not knowing what's available in terms of libs and whatnot.
I want to play with new programming languages, and see if the output is correct while I'm at it.
Regulation rarely targets the real problem. It targets a problem, creating another one.
Maybe autoreply to any email from the NSA with credentials for an automatically just created NSA user.
EDIT: I'm not saying he's a misogynist, in fact I think otherwise. What I'm saying is if she implies he is with a photo attached, he can easily be seen as one.
The problem is with the wealth he probably has hidden somewhere. If not in prison, he would still be living a very rich life. He wouldn't need any job.
But a moronic teenager potentially messing with another teenagers lives forever (Amanda Todd like), in a systematic and industrialized manner, just for laughs or some sociopath self-power acertion (not for science, not for profit, not for educational purposes) kinda reminds some nazi pseudo-doctor from the holocaust.
The (exclusively) peepers are probably just teenagers. The evil ones are those who don't do it for quick, funny sexual purposes.
The evil ones are those who do it for the fun of torturing the "slaves". The evil ones are those who use the collected material for profit (or silly cyber-cred) at the expense of a young girl's mind.
I say pure evil. Like holocaust evil, just at a smaller scale.
> prepare to be sold or traded to the kind of person who enters forums to ask, "Can I get some slaves for my rat please?"
