Will move our startup from Cloudflare.
Maybe I read it to quickly, but what they are doing is quite complex. The medium he's using to explain it might not be the best one for his skillset.
"I've checked in with our engineering teams, and we unfortunately don't yet have a fix or timeline to share here, though we have made additional progress on scoping a path forward. It's extremely complex on our end, as existing data models don't have the required information in place to make the change here, and we'd need to scope how to add that and backfill data (which we're approaching, but again, no timeline to share as of now)."
Obviously I don't know anything about them internally, but if I can export the data as a CSV-file, and then calculate the MRR myself in GSheets, then what data needs to be backfilled? The data is already available to properly calculate it.
I applaud Nintendo for doing this for the NES, but where are they today?
If we focus purely on the console gaming market, Microsoft did a lot for disabled people. Multiple different controllers and systems were released this generation.
What if a small player tries to break into a market with a nee solution? They should give away their IP to the big player purely because it has a positive impact on the world?
Just because their product is more safe doesn’t mean they automatically have to share this with everyone. They put time and a lot of effort into this, and that should be rewarded. The world rewards people with money. Sure some people might be happy with knowing they saved more lives, but eventually most people just want to be rewarded.
I never heard of Steamship before. You used it to analyse audio, and create summaries, is that it's sole purpose? We just started research on text classification in case of extremely small datasets, and was wondering if I should add it to the list.
The cost of nuclear power has only been rising and the price per kWh is much higher compared to wind or solar.
Building cost and time has never been correctly estimated for new plants. Just ask France, UK and Finland. Which resulted in going way over budget.
All of this while prices for solar and wind are lowering... Obviously you can't rely solely on wind and solar but at the moment it would make more sense to invest in those solutions compared to nuclear, for some countries.
Isn't that what autopilot is doing here? The system is merely learning how to code, and then applying it's learnings on other programming problems. It's not like it's writing software to specifically compete with other programs.
He discusses volatility when it comes to currencies, and the impact a volatile currency has. It doesn't really have anything to do with the stock market.
