prince005··on Ask HN: What Are You Working On? (July 2026)
Would love to check it out. But seems the site is down
prince005··on Claude Code sends 33k tokens before reading the prompt; OpenCode sends 7k
Yeah. So the benefit of Fable is that it'll find gaps in the system as well. So logic errors get caught. I have a separate backend and frontend so plumbing issues are also caught by Fable.

I have been using claude code for a big project for a while and I feel like I have optimized my workflow now.

Detailed Plan - Sonnet

Coding - Fable

Do not use any subagents, especially the default ones. They are dumb. The top level agent works well enough

prince005··on Localsend: An open-source cross-platform alternative to AirDrop
PS: Pixel and Samsung devices support airdrop now.
prince005··on I won't download your app. The web version is a-ok
You're not my target audience
prince005··on Ask HN: Share your personal website
I'm not sure if I want to put a name to my anonymous account
prince005··on Newpipe.net removed from Google search results due to DMCA take down request
I fail to understand why people think that YouTube is a charity service. They are a business and act like one, you'd do the same if someone threatens your business.
prince005··on YouTube takes down independent court livestreams
It's very sad to see how people blame and thrash services like youtube instead of respecting the fact that all of it is provided absolutely free of cost.
prince005··on Brave and Firefox to intercept links that force-open in Microsoft Edge
The only reason I use Windows is to play games. So I don't mind any BS microsoft throws at me, because it is just ignored
prince005··on Ask HN: Are you also getting extremely obvious spam bypassing Gmail's filters?
This was a big problem for me, until one day I sat down and cleaned my inbox. Basically moving the correct things to the correct place and now I don't face this issue.
prince005··on No More Medium – Build Your Own Site (2019)
People writing about Free, Open source content on a platform which hides it behind a pay wall.
prince005··on Apple sued by teen wrongly accused of shoplifting by unreliable facial-rec tech
Is it just me or a part of Apple is just rotting away?
prince005··on I can only think that modern front end development has failed
I think the bigger reason here is that devs jump directly into Frameworks rather than understanding the basics of web development itself.
prince005··on Google’s Supreme Court faceoff with Oracle was a disaster for Google
Reading the article I get a feeling that the judges don't really understand what an API is.

Also, the comment > I'm concerned that under your argument, all computer code is at risk of losing protection under 102(b)

It seems rather incorrect in case of reimplementing an API. It's not like the underlying logic has been changed or copied it's just that the top level API has been modified to be compatible with the system being used. Or am I missing something?

prince005··on Ask HN: Mind bending books to read and never be the same as before?
Homo Deus, by Yuval Noah Harari. This is the second book in the very famous series Sapiens. The book explains how technology will effect our lives in the future in a way that is interesting, entertaining and above all, mind-boggling.
prince005··on Valve's Proton Has Brought 6000 Windows Games to Linux So Far
If Cyberpunk 2077 runs on linux, I'll remove windows today itself..
prince005··on Why is modern web development so complicated?
This is like a neanderthal saying that fire is hard to build so let's eat the food raw. The time is now old man. The new frameworks are surely confusing (not complicated) to learn at first but that is because they expect you to learn a system by which the chances of you delivering a bad product gets mitigated as the lowest level components follow an accepted standard. You are learning a system, a new tool to aid in your work rather than starting from scratch every time. And if you say you don't start from scratch and have a system/set of components to reuse then, voila, you are just doing the same thing frameworks do, but in your own sweet way.
prince005··on Introduction to Applied Linear Algebra: Vectors, Matrices, and Least Squares
Proceed with caution..
prince005··on Microsoft is building a Chromium browser to replace Edge on Windows 10
I won't really complain if there are just 2 render engines out there in the market, given that both are open source. It will make work hell lot easier for so many developers and the competition and development will stay healthy.
prince005··on I quit Instagram and Facebook and it made me happier
This was such a good demo!
prince005··on I quit Instagram and Facebook and it made me happier
I too did quit facebook and instagram like 6 months ago, since then I have achieved so much. For starters I have a Job and 6 pack (abs not beer:) and not to mention my relationship with people near to me has drastically improved. I think this was one of my best decisions ever and I am really happy to see that so many people think the same way!
prince005··on Reddit AMA on Photopea, a free alternative to Photoshop used by 1.5M people
I have been using Photopea for a while now, especially since I moved to a Linux machine from Windows and being a Photoshop enthusiast I would say, this is the best alternative outh there.
prince005··on What happens when you ask people to draw a bike (2016)
That maybe because hands have a dynamic form/shape while a bicycle has a static form and is thus easier to remember or draw.
prince005··on Building a Kickass Portfolio
Was just updating the site. Do try now.
prince005··on Building a Kickass Portfolio
