Many different sources to get funding data, via APIs and searching and scraping the web. Not easy to gather via just a simple Google search.
rahulvarshneya··on Show HN: Get hired faster by reaching decision-makers early
People spend far more on job applications with a premium LinkedIn account, so this offers a more targeted outreach with a trigger-event that is a leading indicator! The goal is that people shouldn't have to stay subscribed for long, the whole idea of the product in the first place! :)

rahulvarshneya··on Ask HN: What is the market like for junior software engineers?
We don't typically recruit junior developers being a startup as we want the person to hit the ground running. But bigger companies sure do hire junior developers as they have the leeway to groom them for bigger tasks.

I'm sure there are enough avenues for junior developers, purely going by the salaries that are being doled out by these companies for INTERNS, what with $4,000-$6,000/month salaries. For INTERNS!

Why would you have a .in domain and not make the service available in India (to which the domain belongs to)?
rahulvarshneya··on Amazon Web Services’ growth unrelenting
AWS has gained huge popularity I think on two counts: one is where GoDaddy suffered quite a backlash in the media. And two, it has launched fantastic services for a whole host of entrepreneurs who get the service at no cost for the first year.

That could potentially have fueled the use of the service, but lower revenues.

It may make sense to see the revenues a year post these number to actually assess the contribution of AWS to Amazon's overall revenues.

I think I've read this somewhere. In fact, I'm sure I have. However, I completely agree with the author as this is something that I've experienced myself.
rahulvarshneya··on SEBI (India) Says Angel Funds Must Not Invest in Cos Older than 3 Years
Makes sense. If they invest in companies older than 3 years, that would not amount to an early stage investment, what the Angel Funds are meant to be.

The fact that there are Angel Funds willing to invest in companies beyond 3 years in existence doesn't speak much for either the company or the fund itself!
