Then add resolution, IP address location (which VPN they use is also a datapoint), which time they are active at, etc. and you can get a good almost-unique identifier.
Usually there are at least a few choices with different compromises. Browsers, OSes, languages, editors, all have multiple actually popular choices.
Does git win because of the decentralized, everyone-has-a-local-repo aspect? Or the staging area, which I understand other VCSes don't have? Or just speed or reliability? Or just being in the right place at the right time?

And Qt apps will scroll differently than the GNOME project's apps which will scroll differently than other Gtk apps. It really feels disorganized and unfinished.
That's insane but you're right. Firefox on Ubuntu had awful trackpad scrolling 10 years ago and it's still bad. How do you make an OS where the main pointing device on half of the market sucks and assign that low priority?
It can also take part of a problem, choose a lead at random, think through the results, and step back if that doesn’t work. A forward pass in an LLM doesn’t do that, yet.
Basically it seems to me that LLMs may have part of what makes us good at inventing ideas, but they’re missing part of that process.
