This is not the best practice codebase as I wrote it when I was learning Django. But is it very applied. Any beginner should be able to understand this.

I'm a Software Engineer, working at Readwise. I was born in Russia and currently live in the US.
I love the work I do at Readwise, but I also like to work on side projects. Here are some that are still active:

Better yet, there is a search panel that would allow you to filter out all the jobs that have contact info, so that you can reach out directly.
Give it a try, would love to know what you think.
have to work on the dead positions, you are totally right.
For me it would be:
*Django* for backend with the built-in templates. No frontend backend split.
TailwindCSS for styling.
StimulusJS for sprinkling JS wherever needed, which is not very often.
Postgres as my DB (although if I'm not integrating Stripe, SQLite will suffice).
Maybe Redis for caching and as a broker for background tasks, if needed.

Leetcode I don't like. I know I should do it, but it's not fun and it is never in my head, so I just don't ever find the time for that.
The lesson here is if you want to do something you will find the time. So phrase it or make it such that either of these to are fun for you to do.
Love this line! Thanks a ton for you thought, they are great and to the point.
Thanks a ton for your advice and thanks for the recommendation!
The idea of staying close to a niche is that there are enough of site where companies can look for candidates, so I don't want to compete with those.
You are free to post your profiles on others sites for free too, I'm not stopping you.
