richardbaxter··on Agency in an MCP: all the tools you need to do your own SEO work
I built this using basically 20 years of experience in working with small and large websites - the bit you're getting charged for is data collection - analysis - recommendations. Writing data to a SQlite database to keep context relevant, it has a crawler, Google search console integration and other services like dataforseo so you know there's demand for the thing you're doing. I've been using it and developing it for a while now - fork, raise requests, ask for features - I'd be delighted to continue developing this with some IRL requests!
richardbaxter··on Show HN: A complete technical SEO audit in an MCP wrapper
Thank you - i'm making it as complete as Ican - feel so welcome to raise PRs / features.
richardbaxter··on MCP for LM Studio with Prompt Library and Custom Prompting
I've built an MCP for LM Studio for apps like Claude Desktop (or your IDE) to offload development/coding / creation tasks to LM Studio using the LM Studio SDK. You can also send a custom_prompt from Claude, so you can have AI optimising its own prompts to get outcomes from teh local LLM.
richardbaxter··on How Google is using Chrome to (locally) render and track user interaction
This is a fascinating presentation from Cindy Krum, who uncovers how Chrome (installed locally) appears to be used by Google to render a webpage (with JS etc) locally to save their resources and track user data to improve ads and their own ML ranking algorithm.
richardbaxter··on SEO hidden text and AJAX
Hm. "Found" does not mean "OK". If this were a serious, site wide proposition in a competitive vertical on a high ranking domain, you'd be risking everything going down this route.

A much nicer way to solve the problem I think these tests are trying to address is to implement pre-rendering of your ajax pages. Take a look at something like prerender.io.

richardbaxter··on Show HN: gotypecast.com - be interviewed by anyone
I think this is a fantastic concept for tutoring / lecture support! Good skills and good luck!
richardbaxter··on How to Track Highlighted Text on Your Site with Google Analytics
It's awesome is what it is. I wonder if you can pull the 1,2 and 3 word terms via the Google Analytics API? I'd betempted to use that data to generate popular search pages / navigation and internal link changes.
