Thanks for sharing the great resource. I was hooked on the first slide. :)

That's a pre-requisite. :)

Great tips. Watching myself speak is extremely painful. Last time I could only get through half of the talk. The next time I plan to sit through the whole talk. I haven't tried the last tip but I will definitely try it next time. :)

Love this tip. I like to hand out a worksheet before my talk personally to each attendee. This way I get to meet them personally to make a connection. This helps me relax as well. :)

I would definitely push for improving your speaking before you address these types of details.

Good point. These are general tips to do if you are able to. :)

Reduce the noise. You will be able to work on your ideas more effectively. Scan HN a few times a day. Try it out.

I was facing the same situation when I needed to create an demo video for an app I designed. I had never done any type of video production before. Luckily I found this course on Udemy that lays out all the steps needed to create a demo video http://bit.ly/1bUkHSV

I was then able to go step by step from brainstorming ideas, creating a script, finding artwork, finding music and effects and then optimizing for the web.

Hope this helps.

Can you make time early in the morning like waking up a few hours earlier everyday to dedicate to learning how to code? This way you will get the satisfaction of learning while fulfilling all your other responsibilities plus it will be quiet enough for you to be able to focus.
