The original suggestion of plunging slowly and gently is entirely sensible, since it's the only variable available in the context.
I have the white frame on the bezel against a light-coloured wall and when displaying art it's much less imposing on the room than an empty black screen. Obviously it uses more power than standby but it's also quite a bit less than a dynamic screensaver.
Don't know that I'd get another one; the bugs in Samsung's software are annoying (I just want it to display the art, or a picture from a single HDMI input, how hard can they possibly make it?) but perhaps that's standard for modern TVs.
This doesn't get around all the other annoying bugs in the firmware of course.
They should keep their phone in Lockdown mode [1]. It's less useful as a computer in that case but the restrictions reduce the attack surface.
I don't understand; are you bundling an entire WASM environment in the SDK to interpret flags?

Is desktop client support on the roadmap?
There's rather a lot of land in the world outside of the US that could have a datacenter built on it. There's also a lot of Australia that's uninhabited but not uninhabitable.
Please explain how adding a crypto wallet or blockchain into this mix changes anything meaningful.

I imagine that a Chinese fighter probably costs a lot less to get into the air than an F-35 does. The airframe and engines might not have a higher MTBF than F-35 (or maybe they do) but they are certainly cheaper and easier to replace, regardless.
There's an obvious economic and industrial capability question to all of this. A player with cheap planes can erode the benefits of the technologically superior one by simply encouraging them to be used more, or forcing the decision to not use them for fear of stretching supply lines... Thus reducing the required response time when it's decided to actually deploy the expensive weapon.
