Is Context Switching something important for you as well, or was it just curiosity?
According to Border theory and self-regulation theory people are: Border Enforcers(Have strict boundaries between live and work), Border Adapters(Can adapt if a border is crossed ex an emergency), or Border Expanders (It's hard for them to delimit where one border ends and another starts)
I see how Maximising autonomy could work for Border enforcers but it can cause real damage to Border Expanders.
The reward you get from being able to touch what you are working on is really nice.
Cooking can be relaxing as well - unless you have kids crying that they are hungry - then it becomes quite stressful.
Do you have any specific wood working projects?
Flow is quite addicting.
Calling them every week at least once to see the nephew (we live in a different country ) - but I'll try to do the 1 minute a day I commented earlier.
It sounds like you don't have this chance anymore. . sorry for your loss.
Meaning giving 1 minute a day to your parents / love ones to let them know you are good - healthy - that you love and appreciate them..daily is worth more than trying to compensate on a Saturday.
I now miss watching out the window.
It's not very hard to implement but we've been waiting to see if there are people wanting this ++.

Download the zip
Unarchive it
Move it to apps.
Right-click on it -> Open. Do this twice (It will say that it is not trusted as the app was not downloaded from the store)
// To be able to position the apps you will need to give it accessibility rights. Go to Settings Security and Settings > Accessibility ->Search for Ikuna and click open.
> App Unlocked.
*Ps. It has a shortcut option in the settings.*Personal recommendation CMD + § (the symbol above tab) for ease of use.
Would be awesome to port it to windows/linux later.
I get your point - people measure/bill things differently. How do you measure/bill things?
That's exactly why I'm asking. --- most dashboards seem to show a part of the story but that's often incomplete. Ex. Time spent Thinking is 100% productive but if you measure APM -It isn't labeled as such.
Delivering reliably is important for managers - but how do you do that if the task constantly change.. I'm assuming you you estimate and as long as you're on target more or less - it's ok with your manager? -- Could you expand on the sharing with others part? - what you want to share ?
It is definitely a way to collect emails but there's nothing from stoping you to add whatever you want there.
Plan is to send an automatic email with your replies and results, not available right now.
As long as the stable working environment provides a healthy dose of personal achievement.
I found it not so straight forward ( with the adding up the results -> dividing it -> comparing it to statistical values -> in the end not really knowing if I have burnout or not )
But it provides more in-depth information especially in relationship with Belgium workforce.
The results page is indeed lacking - working on it. Was not expecting a great deal of traffic to the calculator just yet. We're working to improve the results with actionable tips.
This is a better interpretation of the results https://monkeypuzzletraining.co.uk/burnout-inventory-results
The site doesn't measure your mental well being. It is a tool, based on Maslach's research of burnout, to check where you stand.
Thanks for the comment, have a great day!
Both this quiz and the one you shared are based on the Maslach Burnout Inventory.
Decided to do the quiz to automate the results as most of what I found was paper based.
>Taking on too many concurrent projects inevitably leads to burn out...
100%
Ps. It seems that the penalty increases as we grow older.
