Last year I went full time on my side project https://dropevent.com, a group photo sharing site. I've doubled revenue but it is still far from matching my previous software developer salary.

Growth has all been pretty organic with just a few forays into adwords and facebook marketing. Growth is really the keyword for 2017 and what I will be focusing on.

Parse was how I got my first backend needing apps into the App Store. Always thought they were a great company and really set the bar for how to build and document an API. Sad to see them go, but wish them all the best.

I worked with Robleh on a memory game using images from Instagram back in the day called InstaMatch. I had made the simple game and published it, and he helped do all the marketing and design to make it quite successful. He was always great to work with and we made decent money until Instagram decided to stop having apps use any part of their name in the title.
