scriptproof··on (Better) Tabs with Round Out Borders
Of course, it is proven in the link above.
scriptproof··on (Better) Tabs with Round Out Borders
jQuery code is embedded in the demo I have downloaded, and the goal of the demo is to show how to use the tool. I have tried to remove this code and then tabs do not work.
scriptproof··on (Better) Tabs with Round Out Borders
It does not work on IE7 and has squared tabs on IE 8. And JQuery is required too, it is not installed on all websites. This version works on any browser without framework: http://www.xul.fr/javascript/tabs.php
scriptproof··on StackOverflow also planning to switch from GoDaddy due to SOPA concerns.
These sellers change domains each day. According to my host, they can even change servers several time per month. The process involved by SOPA, a judge decision to close the site will be absolutely inefficient against them.
scriptproof··on HP to Contribute webOS to Open Source
Tizen = Linux + HTML 5. WebOs = Linux + ENYO or OpenGL. They are not so unrelated.
scriptproof··on What I suspect Google is up to with Native Client
It is a frontend for browser apps to OpenGL that is an alternative to DirectX (or a part).
scriptproof··on What I suspect Google is up to with Native Client
I am not really favorable to the all-in-the-cloud trend at Google. NaCl seems to be the exact opposite to that and I am as other users (as expressed in a comment above) happy with that. Another point is that it is not a replacement to DirectX. WebGl is this replacement, and WebGL is a common initiative, not a Google's invention.
scriptproof··on Google can be used as a graphic calculator
You can zoom with CTRL +, (this is a browser feature).
scriptproof··on Linux Mint 12 “Lisa” released
Some kind of service pack to update the software would be nice. But if Wordpress is automatic when you choose to update, you are not obliged to update, there is nothing against free software here!
scriptproof··on Linux Mint 12 “Lisa” released
I am not convinced by their "Fresh Upgrade" that looks like a fresh install! Ideally we should be able to upgrade automatically like Chrome or Windows or Wordpress. The future of Linux is here.
scriptproof··on Microsoft shoots down Google's Dart
I believe Dart may have lot of uses beyond scripting HTML pages, and does not need for IE compatibility. And I have not found a single word about Dart in the article. Just some small changes in JavaScript, very minor compared to what is planed to JavaScript 5.
scriptproof··on Nokia’s Microsoft Phones May Not Get Traction, Analyst Says
But Microsoft does not need to sell WP, it makes profits from Android!
scriptproof··on Please let this not be the future of reading on the web
There was a statement of Matt Cutts at PubCon saying Google will penalyze pages with too much ads above the fold. Expect to see that.
scriptproof··on History of Knol, createad by Google to replace Wikipedia, to be closed soon
But we gained Annotum, a promising theme for Wordpress to manage multi-users!
scriptproof··on Go language turns two, but its syntax turns forty
The syntax of Visual Basic is that of Basic that is even older (1964) than that of C (1972) that inspired Go. Simpler syntax has been used since. Python is an example.
scriptproof··on How to create a logo in minutes
The name of the tool in Gimp is Alpha to LOGO. So, I can not wrong, it is the right word.
scriptproof··on How to create a logo in minutes
What I had in mind was banners for websites, the image on the top with the name of the site, not brand logos.
scriptproof··on Jobs Told Google's Page to Cut Bloat to Avoid Becoming Microsoft
+ programming languages.
scriptproof··on New patent granted for building a “snow man/woman”
A patent to snowman was filed by Angela Holiday in 2006. Number 7,963,500. Apparently granted in June 2011.
scriptproof··on Thoughts on Designing a new Web Apps Language
Looks like a description of the Scriptol programming language but for the JavaScript last sentence.
scriptproof··on Algorithms to enhance or transform images
That deserves an update, yes.
scriptproof··on Why my Mom Bought an Android, Returned It, and Got an iPhone
I guess the article was written by Steve Jobs.
scriptproof··on Stephen Elop Costs Nokia 10 Million Dollars of Lost Profit Every Day
I am sure WP7 + Nokia will be a winning strategy. But it can not work until the phones are available! Android would be a good choice also unless the system become so encumbered with patent costs if become unusable, which is possible.
scriptproof··on NYT Skimmer
If the mouse has a forward and back button, it is very easy to use. Great design for me.
scriptproof··on How does Google pay 2.4%?
It is funny a such system is implemented in France and it is sometimes helped by Google Earth to discovers undeclared properties.
scriptproof··on CSS only Lightbox
Lot of lighboxes. CSS only, CSS + JavaScript, with Ajax, etc... http://www.xul.fr/javascript/lightbox.html
