I recently bought a very cheap RC car for my kids, and it was USB-C rechargeable but instead of having a port it just has a USB-C cable that comes out of it and plugs into a power brick. I love that.
there's plenty of uses for models not doing what they were made to do, but this is even worse. It's people trying to get the model to do what it was made specifically not to do!
the study was conducted using a didgeridoo but the circular breathing seems to be the important mechanism. No studies have been conducted on other instruments that require or benefit from it.
6-12 months ago I felt like i was constantly behind the curve with all the different things people were doing to get more out of their claude code. as the year has progressed though, all of those features keep making their way into vanilla claude code, at a faster and faster rate. Now someone working on the bleeding edge is using things that i'll be using without having to think about them a month from now. It has really reduced my anxiety of being left behind.
It's surely not a great book and if you are someone who reads a book every few months i wouldn't recommend it. It's very weird and different and fun, though. I suggest it for people who read a lot of sci-fi and are looking for something that doesn't feel the same as 10 other books they've already read.
The animation quality of mickey mouse clubhouse was appalling when I first had kids. They seem to have decided to care about that, as the animation on mickey mouse clubhouse + is a marked improvement.
I have celiac and often feel the same way about gluten free foods. Please stop trying to feed me gluten free versions of things that rely on gluten to be good. Just give me a rice bowl or tacos on corn tortillas. With Veganism/Vegetarianism it makes even less sense to me. Not eating gluten is not a choice for me, but Vegans and Vegetarians chose this lifestyle because they don't want to eat meat, why make fake things that resemble meat?
I don't know what the actual website is, but the Dungeon Master for my DnD group sent out a link to a collaborative calendaring website and all we needed was the link, and we just put our names in and marked out our availability. This really only worked because we didn't have to sign in or create accounts, just have the link. There are probably other low-impact ways to handle the authentication, I would probably just use a sign in with google page.
I recently picked up exactly this, not caring much what I got since it was destined for a pot of mulled wine. I had some of it and was pretty surprised how delicious it was untainted by spices and honey and brandy
I had a miserable job that I absolutely hated before my career in tech. I was saving up money to last me through going to a coding bootcamp and had just sat down and calculated that I needed $X more. I got called into a meeting and laid off and given a severance check for almost exactly $X. I still cried on the way home, even though looking back objectively it was one of the best things that ever happened to me
Kerosene makes a lot more sense than methane. The only reason methane makes sense for SpaceX is they intend on manufacturing fuel on mars for the return trip.
A graphic on the page notes that these are designed to be used with red 660nm bulbs. A lot of current grow lights are white, blue, and red bulbs. It seems these are aiming to create the blend of blue and white so manufacturers can blend them with red without worrying about the white/blue mix.
It may keep you away from driving but does it keep you away from travelling by car? Riding in an uber because you drank is just as dangerous as driving yourself sober.
the cryogenic methane fueled full flow staged combustion engine of the raptor 2 is in many ways not a good fit for weapons platforms. It's a very purpose built engine for uplifting mass into orbit.
there's also a feature in the ticket master app to just send the tickets to someone digitally so you can still sell them other ways. /i just got rid of a spare ticket i had on cash or trade.
edit to add: my friend couldn't make the concert, I'm not a scalper!
I think they still do, but they at least used to have this in the SF Financial District, it was always fun walking out to lunch with hordes of people all crossing the street whichever way they wanted, including diagonally through the intersection.
the difference is clear to be sure, just pointing out that at least in engineering, they have never been shy to publicize their failures, and use them to improve processes. I would hope that that attitude would apply equally to safety, but it seems like it does not.
but where is the connection between investing yourself into your job and going in to the office? That assumes that you can't work hard from home, which I don't believe to be true.
This is the company that released a video of a bunch of their rockets exploding, "How not to land an orbital rocket booster". They are usually pretty open with their failures, at least in engineering.

I have a similar approach, and with evidence to back it up. All my coinbase coins are still in coinbase. The coins in the wallet on my old desktop that I have somehow misplaced the tower for several years ago on the other hand...
i have a vape battery that charges by USB-C but only the 6" long cable it came with. none of my other cables will charge it, and its cable won't charge anything else.
California is a pretty huge talent pool to ignore, especially with Colorado already passing a similar law and many other states moving similar bills through legislature.
