sgwae··on Boeing Was ‘Go, Go, Go’ to Beat Airbus with the 737 Max
Has the same issue happened for airbus with half a thousand dead, and any of their planes grounded world wide?
sgwae··on Oracle Swings the Layoff Axe
If we compare software engineering to retail, not everyone can work for walmart (Google), but have to make do with the random dollar store chain (Oracle).

There is only so many decent jobs you know.

sgwae··on Your AirPods Will Die Soon
Its 1 dollar cheaper to buy a new set than to replace them indivudually. Typical apple.
sgwae··on Watches Are yet Another Easy Way Rich People Make Their Money into More Money
Maybe yours is way more expensive, but the $300 brands I buy tend to go down in price as new models come out.

Its a fashion accessory to me, dont even use it for time as we have smart phones nowadays. Just the skeleton looks cool.

sgwae··on ‘A toxic culture of overwork’: The graduate student mental health crisis
uh, how would that even get enforced? Some of my coworkers do schoolwork, and online lectures during work, you think the boss will take thier degree? Knowleged gained from spending time learning new stuff, and experienced gained from related projects to prepare for your next job is gonna be hard/pointless to confiscate as well.

Oh no, the boss is going to take my hello world app in node js.

Not really, search google for apron, and only one of the results is blue. Most common aprons are white, and black, so those would have better brand recognition.

sgwae··on Listen to a SIM-Jacking, Account-Stealing Ransom
Seems pretty wasteful solution if everyone maintains a secondary burner phone for login. But it works for the short term, and I would worry about fees, and inactivity cancelations.
sgwae··on Microsoft suspends Windows 10 update, citing data loss reports
None of the major os vendors have great usabability. They work, but with lousy updates, and/or limited customization.

Some of the android phones I buy dont even have rooting options.

For those who cant be bothered to google, its Android.
sgwae··on New autonomous farm wants to produce food without human workers
Why do you think they don't have farmers as advisors/consultants already? While inefficient now, perhaps they could have a few hundred machines running around once they scale up. And it looks like they have a variety of "premium" produce versus just the cabbages in your link.

Your website offers food from a "little farm". Wouldn't tech companies prefer to partner with experienced large scale commercial growers? In addition, you seem to take things (that aren't even criticisms) overly emotionally/personally, which would probably not be ideal in a cofounder.

sgwae··on MtGox: Announcement of Commencement of Civil Rehabilitation Proceedings [pdf]
There is no obligation to return the current market value. To make you whole, you would get 8 back.

sgwae··on Amazon Is Complicit in Online Sales of Counterfeit Goods: Report
There are lots of knock of bose headphone that sell for 300+ real, but 100 fake. The difference of a bose noise canceling, and generic brand is huge difference. The packaging of fakes is getting really good. Im not taking a risk from Amazon, when best buy has a lower chance of counterfiet inventory.

A seller can easily submit many fakes into inventory on amazon. But someone who returns a fake to best buy, but keeping the real device had to risk getting recorded, and can only do so at a slower rate of one item at a time.
