singingtoday··on GPT-5.6 Sol can beat Factorio on peaceful mode
I'm sure you could if you put your mind to it. It's not so bad, on peaceful mode. Just takes time.

Boring though without something to attack you imo

singingtoday··on GPT-5.6 Sol can beat Factorio on peaceful mode
That's moot- it's a comparison vs humans who can beat it.
singingtoday··on Google Search is now less than half of Alphabet’s revenue
Thank you for that. Super interesting.

I'm surprised GCP rev is growing so fast. Anecdotally, most devs I know still prefer AWS.

singingtoday··on Gemini 4 Carbon
Resistance is futile; customer experience is absent.
singingtoday··on Gemini 4 Carbon
Still not seeing it. Do I need to update or clear a cache or config maybe? I'll try installing fresh in a VM later, see if that works.
singingtoday··on Gemini 4 Carbon
Didn't for me (antigravity, pro sub). I got it working with the API, but to my dismay I learned that counts as enterprise and so many features are disabled, such as auto mode.
singingtoday··on Gemini 4 Carbon
I have a pro subscription and still don't have Argon. I can only access it via API.. I guess I can set antigravity up with that.

But it just all seems so tedious when codex and Claude are so painless.

singingtoday··on Gemini 4 Carbon
What CLI harness should be used with this? Is antigravity usable these days via CLI?
singingtoday··on Gemini 4 Carbon
Do both like OAI and Anthropic do.
singingtoday··on SlopCodeBench 10/2026 – Opus 5.5, Astra wins overall, xhigh considered harmful
I have no data to support this, but when working on SaaS systems I find anthropic models more effective.

But for webdev, deep research, code review, and a few other tasks I find the current 6.1 sol better.

But I use both. And I use codex more.

singingtoday··on The obscure trust looming over Anthropic's IPO
Pure speculation on your part.

>people with diseases

I'll let you rewrite this, since as written it implies having a disease makes you in some way bad.

I'm not them, but the point I read is that Canadians aren't avoiding Google.
singingtoday··on ICE Planning $100M 'Nightmare' Domestic Spy Program
Why have one when you can have two?
singingtoday··on ICE Planning $100M 'Nightmare' Domestic Spy Program
Hey, analyst reading this: You should ask for a raise. Seriously look up income in your area, you're getting scammed.
singingtoday··on Gemini 4 Argon
Same issue here, didn't accept my credit card. Didn't say why either.
singingtoday··on Redesigning source control at Anthropic
I've been doing that for one project/experiment. No source control. Tests and an agent swarm let loose.

It works, but there is a significant amount of churn. I find when the swarms use git it's less churn and less token usage.

singingtoday··on Muse Wonder
That's an interesting way to benchmark LLMs. What other ways have you come up to measure them?
singingtoday··on Muse Wonder
Again? I just raised mine back up. But for real, it's exciting getting new models so often.
singingtoday··on Show HN: Brickbrag – A multiplayer brick-building world in the browser
Interesting idea! Wasn't able to play it at high enough performance, but I'll keep an eye open for updates!
singingtoday··on Hackers activate automatic defrosting in supermarket fridges across Europe
Yes, unironically. Automated on demand refrigeration vehicles.

No power? Internet hackers? No problem! Freezr is here to save the day!

singingtoday··on Hackers activate automatic defrosting in supermarket fridges across Europe
Yeah, no, it is crazy. I'm reading these comments too like, what?

People advocating to do nothing? Saying it's not practical to do anything.

Smells botty to me.

I hope you're wrong, but I worry you're right.

It's not stealing, it's learning. The original person still has it. Copied, duplicated, sure. But not stolen.

They have flying taxies in guangzhou. Though they're prototypes and I wouldn't use one.

Winning is a strong word, but they have significantly higher home ownership, purchasing power, less drug addiction, and generally safer big cities.

I believe the average worker in a tier 1-3 Chinese city is better off than a living in a North American City. Or at least, my content feed leads me to think this way.

What does "bug" mean in this context? I apologize if this is an acronym or jargon I should know.

*Edit it's a typo. You meant big.

singingtoday··on IRCv3
For me, opening it. But my PC is old and not beefy enough for heavy things like react.
singingtoday··on Total Annihilation, rebuilt for modern computers
Are you using the word "theft" colloquially or literally?

I'm just curious, people consider this theft?
