skycocker··on A Married Undercover Cop Having Sex with Activists Killed a Climate Movement

Reminds me of a game called "Telling lies". Must have been inspired by these events.

skycocker··on Low Framerate in Safari on M1 Mac

What a terrible idea to enable low power mode on battery by default.

skycocker··on Hush: Noiseless Browsing for Safari

It would be awesome if it worked on Google.com / YouTube.com and some of my local news websites. Uninstalling for now, but I’ll try it again in a few weeks - the idea is very promising to me and the world desperately needs this. My day just got better thanks to this developer, even though there is still room for improvement. Good luck!

skycocker··on Show HN: Chromebrew – the package manager for Chrome OS

Updates won't do any harm. Going off the dev mode however will wipe your partition, so Chromebrew will go away as well.

skycocker··on Instagram as a Growing Business

"Instagram as a Growing Business", aka how to make your users believe ads are a feature provided for them.

skycocker··on Move.js is a small JavaScript library making CSS3 backed animation

I was about to ask how did it get so many stars, now I understand :p

skycocker··on Move.js - body movement controlled javascript

It didn't work in anything but Chrome, now it's fixed.

skycocker··on Why I changed my mind about Safari

It's caused by an ugly workaround I used to enable Safari. I'll fix it as soon as I get home, thanks for the feedback.

skycocker··on Ask HN: Your favorite to-do list or task manager?

I'm planning to do so, but I need to stabilize push notifications a bit before I start to make Rodos look better. Thanks for the advice, anyway! :)

skycocker··on Ask HN: Your favorite to-do list or task manager?

I have recently made a small todo webapp because I needed one myself, it's still deep in beta, but besides few UI flaws on WebKit works pretty well: http://www.rodosapp.com/

You can add a new group just for yourself or add some people to it, you do it by typing their email address to "add user" field. Of course that user has to be already registered in the app.
