We don’t gain anything from asking a 3rd party. In fact it costs money per request.
Some of us _like_ CSS, and try to use as much of it when possible, but I feel like we are few and far between. I use react to manage the state of my app, but that doesn't mean I have to make a 27 div component to style an input.
The big problem is trying to convince the rest of the team that they should learn and use CSS.
I popped for the 80 as soon as the shipping times caught up to real time. It's a fantastic keyboard. I haven't gotten any of the clusters for it yet, but I'm very happy with my purchase.
Whose brain dead idea was this?
Oh well. Nothing of value was lost.
Here’s a YouTube video that does a much better job of highlighting these benefits. https://youtu.be/A0sM6xVAY-A?si=qrk2ZFFYPA2-6rAS
Not quite the same, but works really well for not breaking any layouts because it just scales the entire display out of the viewable area.
It’s kind of a relief. I think I was too “lazy” to stop on my own because Apollo was so comfortable to use.
I recommend those as they seem to be the least intrusive while giving a lot of sane defaults.
Trying to find a clean way to organize them and have it available in all the games, maybe just checking them into github is the way to go.
One of the issues I have is that I have blueprints in every copy of the game now instead of in some central location :(
What does your launcher do?
A lot of common screwdrivers can turn Philips head screws enough to get the job done.
I used to use it to remap capslock to control, but apple has since added that to macOS itself.
I also prefer to learn by doing, and chatgpt gives me enough support in the places I’m lacking to make It much easier for me to learn about what’s going on. Infinitely patient, and just a few keystrokes away whenever I need it.
I'm using this not to replace my work, but to enhance it. It's like having a mid-level developer sitting next to me that knows enough about everything to push me in the right direction.
I don't find this to be the case with styled-components. To me styled components feels just like writing CSS (which I like), but with a slightly obscure variable syntax (if I need a prop or theme value).
But the iOS store is much harder to just “fire and forget” on.
Mobile Safari does ignore this setting. You have to go out of your way with stopping touch events on mobile safari to prevent zooming.
Sometimes this is problematic for sites using "small" (< 16px) fonts for input fields because that will cause mobile safari to zoom in to show the input field whether you want it to or not.
Very excited to try this out.
