In a post about their abandonment of git, I despise how they use “human scale” and that some tools break when exceeding human scale. And… if humans use it then it’s at human scale, right? For example, who is to say that git is also not assuming a superhuman ability in memory and text processing… I think in this moment I see the AI as a tool. Not a sentient being. I do not enjoy simulating consciousness because that may be at some level equal to consciousness. with the increased risk it is conscious and who’s to say that risk should be taken and isn’t immoral, or is even necessary for superintelligence?
