Some of the best coders in the world have taught themselves - but just as many (if not more) have failed because of the inefficiency of trying to learn something you know absolutely nothing about. Should beginners start with Objective-C? If they're completely new, there's no way to know where to start.

For our London course, we have a variety of hiring partners and graduates are getting full-time jr developer positions. The reason we aren't promising to actively do this for the Global course is that it would be impossible for us to have relationships with hiring partners across the globe. That being said, we do have relationships with a variety of global recruiters and we'll do everything we can.

From a technical perspective - our graduates are well prepared for these types of positions.

This is an incredible answer - persistence is absolutely key. What I'm exploring is how to make persistence efficient. How can we make it so that people don't have to spend that horribly inefficient time reading a textbook like that?

We're doing daily agile upgrades so we're trying to communicate that they'll get access not only to ALL of the global equities data, but also all of the updates that we make in terms of ability to save strategies, indicators, etc.

That's a very interesting idea. We've looked at Collective 2 and Currensee as they've done some similar things. Very interesting...

Xignite allows us to show the full historical data of an instrument, but because we're taking a lean approach at testing how people use it, we're limiting them to a few years.

Absolutely true, backtesting is not a guarantee of anything. That being said, I can't remember who said that "No model is perfect but some models are useful."

We're using Xignite's API right now. It's super-simple to integrate with.
