I have plenty of vibecoded projects. I didn't know it was that easy.
Dear: startups and FAANG: please send offers.
Not sure I'm gonna make it past paragraph one tbh.
I'm an AI-assisted coder myself...but one thing I can't stand is the way Claude writes. It's so frustrating and cringe. Tells from the README:
emdash, byte-exact, "The full engineering log", piggybacks, "none of this is possible without it", etc
A remedy I've found for this is in my Claude.md to tell it: write like a mix of simple english wikipedia, mr. rogers and ernest hemingway.
Do you? Just stop caring. I don't think it makes sense to keep asserting that you're an AI vegan in order to please randos. You'll always get hate creating/building anything online. The people that enjoy your work won't care if it's AI or not or they'll believe you.
What do you do for topics like chess?
Two suggestions:
- Let me enter the time with my keyboard - Make your input numpad match a PC keyboard's numpad, not a phone's
I launched Claude code and had it connect and print something, cool! Then I decided to hook it up to the internet so anyone could send me a message. Someone asked for a camera pointed at it, so I did. Of course that was a bad idea… So I hooked up Claude and made it reject naughty content.
It’s been a week and I’ve added tons of features: a mod panel to play with the queue settings, turn the cutter on and off, ban people, etc.
We even have my laptop playing AI voice reactions to the content that gets printed. The livestream has been going for like 4 days straight now. I added some basic monitoring, develop features that the audience wants, refill the roll.
I’ve made a tiny tiny amount of money from this. Yes I feel bad about “wasting paper” but also it gives people joy.
I’ve lost control of my life, I’ve become printer man.
Maybe I will consider optimizing though!
I also didn't copy and paste, Claude ran the commands for me, so it was even easier than that.
You are making a lot of assumptions.
I didn't write the front page index.html and I don't want to. Sure, I prompted it how I wanted to look, though.
tl;dr I had fun and learned stuff.
