I built ProwlA to automate my job search. It's a job application tracker with 28 MCP tools so AI agents can help with the tedious parts.

Three modes: - Manual: Just a clean React/SQLite job tracker - MCP Assisted: Ask LLM to research companies, generate cover letters - Autonomous: Pair with OpenClaw for scheduled scans and background processing

The MCP server exposes tools for job CRUD, company research, materials generation, task queues with locking, event subscriptions, and token tracking.

Stack: React, Express, SQLite, MCP SDK

Would love feedback!

This script cleans up all the crap that AI adds to a vibe project (with your permission).

I wrote this about my recent journey with AI product building. I'm a product designer with 20 years experience, recently moved to AI full stack dev.

I built this using AI in 20 minutes. Pretty cool app that I for sure will be using!
stulogy··on I built a SaaS app in less than 5 hours using AI
This is about my experiment to take almost two decades of experience designing and building SaaS apps, to see if I can build a fully-featured app in less than 5 hours, using AI.
stulogy··on Show HN: Uniteable: Disrupting the Meeting space, making meetings more efficient
I've been working on this idea for a few years, and I finally launched a product that attempts to solve the problem of inefficient meetings. Your thoughts and feedback are really welcome, and you can be as brutally honest as you like.

Uniteable is a tool that easily integrates with Google Calendar and Asana. It takes your existing scheduled meetings, and allows you and your team to add notes in realtime, those notes can then become tasks which can be sent to Asana at the end of the meeting. Afterwards you'll have an archived meeting that you and your team can always access for reference.

stulogy··on Ask HN: Great SaaS product, but REALLY struggling with Marketing. What do I do?
It's a productivity app for helping people manage their time and resources. I don't want to post the link because I think there must be some basic principles that can be applied to a variety of B2B SaaS apps which would be helpful to a lot of people. What I'm really after is a leader who can build a strategy for us, someone who knows the space well and how SaaS works.
stulogy··on Product Hunt Increased Our Traction by 850%
We had around 40 users to start with. Yes the graph is a little mis-leading because I've left the sessions stuck on 0. Thanks for pointing it out.
stulogy··on Ask HN: What music do you listen to while coding?
Drum 'n' Bass – might be a UK thing.
stulogy··on Lessons Learned in SaaS Startups
I wrote a collection of posts on lessons I've learned from 8+ years in SaaS. Hope it helps.
stulogy··on Slack Finally Adds Time Tracking Integration
That might be how you read it. It wasn't my intention to mislead, but to make people aware of the fact that there's a new time tracking integration (the first actually) which I know lots of people would value.
stulogy··on Slack Finally Adds Time Tracking Integration
Yep!
stulogy··on Slack Finally Adds Time Tracking Integration
I guess it should read "adds time tracking integration".
stulogy··on Slack Finally Adds Time Tracking Integration
It's useful to be able to just track time directly from Slack, e.g "/start development", and I'm glad to finally have an app that does it.
stulogy··on Show HN: HourStack – Week Planning and Time Tracking (built in Laravel in 6 Weeks)
I love Laravel 5. I built this in less than 6 weeks thanks to the amazing framework and its community. Wanted to build something simple to plan my week (allocate resources) but also track how I was spending my time in a week. Adding Slack integration next week.
stulogy··on Ask HN: Project management tool for working with a remote team?
You should take a look at our tool - Project Bubble (http://projectbubble.com). It's designed for creatives who work in teams. There's no payment commitment for small teams so you should be able to use it for free.
stulogy··on Startup Lessons from 2012
Thanks Sujan.
stulogy··on Show HN: Fowndr.com Launched - A community of startup founders
It's probably just the load. We're getting new visitations every second so it's taking a bit of a hammering. It's running on Rackspace dedicated, PHP 5.3, CodeIgniter, MySQL 5.5
stulogy··on Show HN: SideProjects.com - 37 Bootstrapped Profitable Projects
You should try and get this in the iBook store too?
stulogy··on Awesome Cocoa REST Client for OS X
Oh I thought it did support OAuth. That's a shame.
stulogy··on Fowndr: private network for startups, now live and handing out invites
At the moment, there is no fixed criteria really. If you are entrepreneurial and have started a company in the past I'd say you are welcome. If you have something to share that's going to be useful to other startups, you're welcome.
stulogy··on Fowndr: private network for startups, now live and handing out invites
Hiya, Yeah good question. Well the thing is why don't you use Sprouter? I don't think you can be a part of too many networks, the more the better. The thinking behind Fowndr is it's not so much about lots of 'sages' who know the answers helping people who don't know, rather lots of people who are all exploring the challenges as well as the fun aspects of running a startup, together. It's all about the community.
stulogy··on Fowndr: private network for startups, now live and handing out invites
Just a bit of background info. Fowndr is a Forrst for startups, it's invite only and was featured on HN a week ago. You can read more on my blog: http://stugreen.com/blog/2011/03/introducing-fowndr
stulogy··on [dead]
Should probably also mention this post which explains more about the idea. http://stugreen.com/blog/2011/03/introducing-fowndr (was on HN a few weeks ago)
stulogy··on Say hello to the new framework that builds apps in minutes
Yeah that's it, you got it. You can set it up as a cron too, so that it keeps on submitting to TechCrunch and Mashable every day or so.
stulogy··on Ask HN: Anyone recommend BaseCampHQ alternatives?
Thanks Jeff!!! You're awesome. Yes check out Project Bubble if you want a great UI.
stulogy··on Introducing Fowndr: A private network for startup founders (invites)
Might be the load. Had about a thousand visitations in 20 minutes.
stulogy··on Introducing Fowndr: A private network for startup founders (invites)
Where are you getting this message? I'm not seeing it.
stulogy··on Introducing Fowndr: A private network for startup founders (invites)
I would imagine that founders already in the network would want to encourage young, new and ambitious founders by inviting them in to the network. There they would be able to share their startup with the community and learn a lot in the process.
stulogy··on Introducing Fowndr: A private network for startup founders (invites)
Thanks. Well, I guess that will be up to the people handing out invites - it will be up to the community to decide 'who gets in', but the fundamental requirements would be that they are founders or co-founders of a Startup that is less than 3 years old and is actively committed to building a business. Thoughts welcome.
