throw234259··on I trained a small transformer in 1.5hrs and it beats many LLMs
> certainly less likelihood they're doing it purely for the love of medicine or a desire to care for their communities.

Maybe self preservation?

In east europe, public hospitals will force doctors to work 36 hours shifts (overnight ER with theoretical sleep). Doctors have a full criminal liability for mall practise.

Look at dev process (i did), this think is "tested to hell" and "battle tested".

But the feedback loop was automated and accelerated. Instead of 1000 loops spread over 20 years, it had 1000 loops over a few months.

Calling it "vibe coded" just shows something about you, not the project. It is not production ready yet, but that is not for fast ai dev or for technical reasons. It needs independent reviews, independent verification, and reputation.

throw234259··on Student teacher arrested for private Snapchat message
Funny how justice works. When teacher rapes her student, system tries everything to cover it up. Police refuses to take report, media calls it "relationship", victim is bullied to silence etc...

Next time we will advice victims to write private snapchat message!

It is great time to start business as downsized paralegal. While ago there was an app that objected parking ticket fines in NYC. Anyone can find similar niche to specialise in, and just produce boring repetitive law work using LLM templates and mostly automated work.

> everyone is gonna jump into the market

Whom exactly? Korea and Taiwan are already saturated. EU may take 5 yearrs just to approve plans formnew factory. US is interested in super fast super duper AIG, ddr5 is way too boring.

Only competitor is mainlaind china!

Than you are perhaps under engineering. Buy generic button that integrates into smart home, and trigger sounds on your home theater.

Or buy 5, and decide which tone you like most.

throw234259··on Using floci to emulate Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
> Final boss: Microsoft Azure

> But Microsoft always finds a way to complicate things.

Quite oposite! Microsof is the only cloud provider that publicly releases their cloud binaries. You can run cloud version of MSSQL on your local workstation, without any emulation.

> You would be surprised that 99% of the solutions out there are complete over engineered stacks that depend on wifi devices, Internet access, connecting to various cloud services...

Interesting context you live in. Here in east europe, 90% of devices you find on eshops are cheap chinese buttons with AAA batteries, that emit signal and another reciever device that plays sound. The sound is not customizable, but it is super cheap stuff.

I would have to go out of my way, to find cloud connected doorbell.
