I have had bad experience with their apps, I don't particularly remember what it was as it was a few years ago but it was their notes app. They limit some basic features and push you to buy their premium versions.
Anecdotal - I had a account in one of the largest english mastodon instances for a few years now and have seen multiple waves of twitter exodus into mastodon. Server becomes extra lively for a few weeks and then it returns to normal. None of these people last.
This is where Monero (a cryptocurrency with anonymity built in) could have been able to hide the donors identity from being shared with the government.
I don't understand where there is a kill switch when you can just turn off your vehicle using the key? Besides killing the engine will mean no power to the brakes and steering as well.
Slightly off topic: I frequently hear it mentioned in threads like this that Chinese companies are able to compete with native sellers even while shipping individual pieces to customers? How does it even work? international shipping is not cheap, especially when you're not shipping in volume. Is the shipping cost included in the product? If anyone can direct me to info on how this trade works I would be thankful.
I'm using utm to run a ubuntu server that where I do all my dev work. Since it is a vm I am a lot less scared of messing up my main system. It is very convenient with vscode remote, which only needed to be configured once and will automatically connect to the vm.
I'm facing the similar issues with my m1 air(8 GB). Recently firefox managed to get to 44GB. I'm closing and re-opening my applications; and checking the memory pressure when things start to feel sluggish. Also unrelated but my speakers have started to sound like garbage.
Have you tried changing your inner voice to some one else's voice? I'm usually have 1 primary voice but I can synthesize anyone's voice. For example, if I'm reading something that I know was written by a woman my brain automatically makes up a female voice for it.
I'm using this for about a month now and the only problem is the default instances that are used are getting rate-limited/blocked; so you will have to find or host your own fresh instance.
Even though I watched it in 4k the image was not 4k sharp, and random areas of the screen would get blurry/pixelated. Zoomed in shots look very bland. I own and iphone and I love the camera very much but this just convinced me that even the best phone cameras are nowhere close to a dedicated camera.
The trackpad is not centered. I'm the small minority that won't touch a laptop with an off centered trackpad. It's very uncomfortable for me as I use my right hand. Ideally manufacturers should make a large touch screen/surface that covers the entire area below the keyboard. We have the technology, it can be done.
