This is an oft repeated suggestion. But the problem is that, there is very little step by step commentary on these codepens. Its mostly only the final step that is presented. I tried recreating some and then got stuck with finer points of positions, margin-auto etc. Thats when I realised I need to solve some advanced CSS puzzles. Thanks anyways!

Neat idea. I would definitely use it, if you promise that that experts would NOT be from low cost countries like India, Romania etc (why? Because as a person from these countries, I want to learn parenting methods from advanced countries.)

It depends on whether the person is on L-1 visa or H-1 visa. If L-1, I can't help. But if its H-1, In all probability, the guy is just afraid of interviewing outside. As someone mentioned below, changing job is tough but not very tough.

Please tell them to seek outside jobs.

Well, google cannot make their product with MS stack. But you can! So everyone using MS office online can use your product.

Even though Google docs is free, Notion is making enough money to keep it sustainable. You can do something similar.

All big companies have HUGE java teams/projects. Its battle tested for distributed systems, has legions of developers who can do any task you ask for. Java is where the big bucks are.

Can someone here explain why companies pay only 40% of US salaries in India? One person from my team is leaving for India soon. He is paid $200k/yr currently in Bay area. But he is being offered INR50 lakhs which is roughtly $80k USD. What stops MS from paying something like $120k USD (converted to INR) because fully loaded costs in US (with FICA taxes) is abot $250K?

Yes. It does affect. If I, the buyer, determine that your code needs to signifcantly rewritten to fit my needs/systems, I will be willing to pay less money. Instead, I may want to build it myself.

First time managers need all the help they can get. 4) Consider if it should be video based or should be a giant tree based questionnaire? Text is faster to read. Much much faster to read. I can read at my own pace, the areas that I do not like. Understanding what I would do in various scenarios will help me understand what I should do in this situation. Write blogs to other resources on the topic to increase your street cred. 5) This is not interactive video. This is pre recorded videos with some input from users.
