A small molecule inhibitor of 15-hydroxy prostaglandin dehydrogenase causes cartilage regeneration. I hope they fast-track it to human trials.
Yes, a lot of online tutorial and snippets. No argument here. Not a lot of material to build a complete project. The value is in "Fractured" vs "Whole" knowledge tree.
South-East WA will have hotter summers, no shade from trees and every time we visited it was windy. having said that rolling hills are beautiful, farmers are nice, some healthy rivers for fishing. Pullman and Moscow have shopping and amenities.
I think the best framework is to not compare yourself to others. And fear of change is a normal, ordinary feeling. Comparing to others makes no sense, just try to do things that YOU will not regret and things that make you happy in long term.
In 2014 Putin annexed Crimea, there was no reaction from the West. Nil, not even one serious sanction. Corporate interest decided to kick the can down the road.
The year is 2022, the West decides to kick the can down the road again. Corporations blame inflation on Putin meanwhile extracting record-high profits. Win-win, in the short term. There is no cure for human nature, in this case - greed.
Why not help Ukraine with jets and anti-air and solve Putin's problem now? It's obvious that corporate US thinks it is less profitable for them to escalate. It's more profitable to let Putin destroy an entire democratic nation. The short-term thinking and greed will backfire eventually. What does the West think Putin, disconnected from reality, power-drunk primate with a grenade in his hand, will do after Ukraine? Stay peaceful?
> Ninety-four (26%) of the 362 patients with ARIA-E experienced symptoms, most commonly headache, confusion, dizziness and nausea, the analysis shows.
> Swelling or bleeding were mild to moderate in those patients, but scans did show severe side effects in 12.2% of patients with swelling, 11.7% in patients with microbleeds and 21.9% in patients with slow brain bleeding.
Aren't we just a bunch of greedy monkeys?
PS: Therapy costs $56,000/year. My question stands.
PPS: Seems like Medicare will pay for it, so burden is on taxpayers.
I recommend having some knowledge for free, for example, open source project. Charge more per copy and expect lower number of sales. Continuously improve project and book. Collect reviews in respectful way.
I am happy to answer any questions.

Let's punish hedge funds - fake outrage
Stocks are climbing up - fear of missing out
Restrictions on platforms to prevent people from falling into this scam - fake outrage
Scammers' freedom of speech is in danger - fake outrage
Looks like we entered new era where fake outrage on social media (Reddit, HN and Twitter) can make scammers a lot of money.
I am surprised that HN community is falling for this scam.
I hope, though, people learn that your experience is one of many ways. And "zero to one" and "all or nothing" are not the only ways.
Can you put yourself into shoes of SOS of Georgia, policeman in DC, senator Lindsey Graham? The mob will tear them apart if they had a chance and mob is advised to do so by Trump. I live in Trump country. A lot of Trump supporters take his calls to action literally.
Should someone's freedom be curbed if it causes harm and death to someone else?
Practically though he will still have ways to reach his base. It'd be okay if they cook in their own soup but problem is that their madness spills over and innocent people get harassed, hurt and now killed. Imagine being on the plane with dozen of Trump supporters and no bodyguard that want to punish you? That's how Mitt Romney felt few days ago. Whose freedom of speech created this situation?

Federal government promised to clean up but failed.
It's good that salmon can come into this area but smelter from Trail, BC has been polluting upper Columbia river for about hundred years. With chemicals and smelter sludge. Fish is not edible, sand is black from sludge.
Salmon may have reached upper Columbia river, but water in that part of the river is heavily polluted.
And south of Coulee Dam, there is storage of nuclear waste, just north of Richmond, WA - Hanford site. Nuclear waste already leaks into Columbia river, north of Tri-Cities area.
So in my opinion, human created disasters in the Columbia river, rank in this order: nuclear waste at Hanford site > smelter at Trail, BC > Dams without passage for fish.
