trash3··on Ask HN: Svelte 5 devs, what's your preferred LLM?
Have you tried uploading the mini llms.txt for svelte into Claude?

https://svelte.dev/docs/llms

trash3··on BioModels
Do you reckon LLMs will or already have improved upon ode/bio mechanistic modelling?
trash3··on Monumental (if correct) advance in number theory posted to ArXiv by Yitang Zhang
This sentiment is humorous, as I'm an optimist apparently. More children will learn more quickly. Applying AI to education should supercharge the smartest.
trash3··on The Young People Working for the Most Evil Companies
Software engineer is the new yuppy. I reckon the majority of users here work for either 'evil' companies or frankly useless ones which is just as bad IMO. Meanwhile we have historical happenings between social, environmental, and health issues that they could contribute to but otherwise take fat paychecks and bury their heads in the sand.
trash3··on The Schizoid Difference
Schizoid can be a good partner if compatible. They need solitude though otherwise are significantly more stable than most.

A diagnosis proper would require brain mapping. My theory is there is a missing piece of circuitry like a bridge in the reward network of the brain.

trash3··on Ask HN: What's the next big thing that few people are talking about?

trash3··on FTC action against Harley-Davidson and Westinghouse for limiting right to repair
Laughing and clinking drinks. Look at their stock past five years. They're a monopoly.
trash3··on I was part of the 10% Elon's layoff yesterday
Even that sounds harsh. The Faang engineers are sociopaths chasing top dollar. The engineers at spacex are the other side of the coin. HN berating people for not getting their worth laughable seeing how a mediocre engineer still makes more than 80 percent of the population.
trash3··on Facebook is receiving sensitive medical information from hospital websites
Are the best ones doing this? Or is it just sociopathic ones?
trash3··on Vitamin D and Depression (2020)
Check your diet. Just because you take vitamin d supplements doesn't mean it gets absorbed into your bloodstream.
trash3··on Airbnb’s design to live and work anywhere
My understanding is, for an American in a EU country, is they can go and work remotely there for the 90 days as long as they are not conducting business in said country. This means face to face business meetings with clients. When you log in remotely to your job based in the USA and not interacting with people directly during the tourist stay, you're in the clear... I think?
trash3··on Tell HN: China Is Entering Lockdown
It's from the hybridized omicron
trash3··on I read the top 100 Scientific papers of all time
If McClintock s papers on corn transposons is not on the list of papers you can be sure it's bunk
trash3··on The Coca-Cola Company Suspends Its Business in Russia
Not to mention the whole addiction factor of their products. Won't be good for moral.
trash3··on An IT Army for Ukraine
Meanwhile all sorts of countries NATO and not are sending in equipped foot soldiers. IT people should have backbones too from behind their cushy monitors
trash3··on The once-extinct aurochs may soon roam Europe again
All we need to do to fix climate change is wait as well ;)
trash3··on Number of Earth’s tree species estimated to be 14% higher than currently known
Written like propaganda. There's more trees today than yesterday so calm down hippies things cant be that bad.

trash3··on The 21 best StumbleUpon alternatives of 2022

trash3··on Reddit announces revamped blocking experience
The inertia of the internet has become lower and lower as more people use it. Without some TikTok but for text forums it won't be able to die.
trash3··on Amazon agreed to allow only five-star reviews for Xi’s book in China
Amazon be like we removed not 5 star reviews (down votes) to protect feelings of our content creators.
trash3··on Ask HN: What things has tech made worse in your life?
Reddit is literal evil. Last time I used the new Reddit, the up vote scores and comment counts change in real time on the screen. Like what the fuck.
