trekrich··on UK Formally Abandons Europe’s Unified Patent Court
i didnt have one about remainers until i started talking to you about brexit. But now i do. Thanks!
trekrich··on UK Formally Abandons Europe’s Unified Patent Court
This reply is another CLASSIC case of remainer-ism. Quoting biased sources like the BBC. At this point there is no point carrying on with this.
trekrich··on Trump administration establishes $75M quantum computing centers
i think i will do that, i am not defending him, i just dont know who is telling the truth in the media anymore.
trekrich··on Trump administration establishes $75M quantum computing centers
i never hear any of his speeches live, i only catch the clips that the news shows you. So how accurate is their reporting? Are they pushing an agenda, taking comments speeches out of context? Both sides do it to their advantage.
trekrich··on Trump administration establishes $75M quantum computing centers
i don't really like Trump, but i don't believe everything i read in the media. All news at this point is just push an agenda from one side of the tribe or the other.
trekrich··on Hands-on: The $300 Kano PC, a “build-it-yourself” Chromebook competitor
one of the comments is brutal if you are HP. Didnt Grandad have one of these? All the money that HP spends on marketing and they are the grandads laptop!
trekrich··on Hands-on: The $300 Kano PC, a “build-it-yourself” Chromebook competitor
This is great for kids to learn about technology, one you have windows on it. They could then install scratch https://scratch.mit.edu/about then move onto Python. Linux would be a good alternative OS to go on it as well.
trekrich··on Medium is not the home for your ideas
dont put anything on medium that you are not prepared to have deleted with no warning.

https://briefingsforbritain.co.uk/wto-terms-understanding-th... Does not seem that bad to me.

I would read some articles on here https://briefingsforbritain.co.uk/ to try and understand the "cult" that you are so quick to vilify. The tribalism around brexit does no one any favours. This account will soon be useless on here, given the amount of down votes for daring to have a different opinion to the majority of the people on here.

not really the same thing and you know it. They are not passing them selves off as a democracy!
trekrich··on UK Formally Abandons Europe’s Unified Patent Court
I am sure that most if not all of the countries are in the WTO and have a framework for trading. Another inconvenient truth is that not everyone will agree with you.

ok so we have an MEP in parliament. But MEPs, can't initiate legislation, only approve it. The EU parliament is arguably the only parliament in the world where members of parliament are not allowed to make laws or initiate legislation. The institution that actually makes the laws in the EU is not the democratically elected members of parliament, but the unelected European Commissioners. This is the issue with the EU. Its a special club at the top, and the people who we can vote for don't really have any say in any of it. That alone is the best reason for it to go!
trekrich··on UK Formally Abandons Europe’s Unified Patent Court
how does the normal citizen vote for the president of the European Commission? How do we vote them out if we dont like their governance anymore?
trekrich··on UK Formally Abandons Europe’s Unified Patent Court
you cannot be half in, or half out. They wont let us pick and choose. I voted leave, so we are all the way out. Or we are all the way in.

trekrich··on The World Doesn’t Need a New Gigantic Particle Collider
exactly, so why believe climate models? They are biased one way or the other?
trekrich··on The World Doesn’t Need a New Gigantic Particle Collider
And this is the problem with climate change models, they are just models. And get changed to suit the narrative thats currently being portrayed.

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/dozens-failed-climate-pr...

All this based on models, and look how wrong they where.

trekrich··on Is WebP really better than JPEG?

trekrich··on Red Lion: Archaeologists 'find London's earliest theatre'
Every generation always has something. The coming of the morse code machine, BBS, Internet etc. There is an interesting book on this kind of thing. Check out a book called Writing on the wall, by Tom Standage.
trekrich··on German city wants to ditch Microsoft for Linux
erm any IT professional that has had to deploy windows 10 using MDT or SCCM? The never ending new versions of Windows 10 that need to be deployed. Windows 10 should have been the LTSC version right out of the gate. None of that chaffy Microsoft Store they are back peddling on. And all the other issues that have came along since the OS release.
trekrich··on German city wants to ditch Microsoft for Linux
Makes you wonder if Microsoft had conducted them selves better with Windows 10, then they might not have been looking at doing this. Windows 10 has been a total mess.
