I think we can avoid Google font CDNs for fonts but we can use them from our assets i.e download the font and use it from your assets instead of Google CDN.

I am already addicted but my organisation doesn't understand that. Node feels sloppy after that but have to work on it.

Learnt a lot of new things , learnt Elixir/Phoenix, now learning Nodejs with Hapi framework.

While learning Nodejs, realised that JS isn't the first language anyone should consider for back-end, but really amazed by things JS is capable of doing today.

Would highly recommend Elixir/ Phoenix over Rails , Elixir not only has lesser learning overhead it makes alot of things a lot easier. Concurrency and speed of server are major advantages but I like way language operates. It was also my first functional language and it changed my perspective for programming languages.

I started learning Elixir/Pheonix and React for a project in my company. Elixir/ Phoenix didn't take much time but React gave me some hiccups initially but seems good now.

Really loved way functional programming works and also how Elixir handles things . Later I was able to relate Elixir concepts with ES6 features in React. Loved this stack. Hoping to get better in them as the time passes.

Looking forward to contributing to an open source project in these technologies this year.

Any recommendations for Elixir/Phoenix would be highly appreciated to begin with.

I just wish I could convince more people to stop using Facebook , I have started disliking it from last few years.

Since in today's age there no unified platform , it doesn't make sense to use bookmarks to me. I use Pocket an alternative which does the bookmark smartly. It stores the webpages oflline on my mobile so it becomes very handy.

First Facebook Messenger and then WhatsApp. Ads are inevitable, it's just the matter of "when". We will live in ads. Google ads might decrease and such ads targeting personal apps are on the rise. This needs to stop.

Maybe Google and iOS do it deliberately to deliver ads perfectly. Just a thought, though highly vague.
