ucdaz··on Survey: Do small businesses use social networking?
The problem with social media outlets like twitter and Facebook is that they're too broad for small businesses to use. For example, ppl don't just go to Facebook or Twitter to connect with small businesses.
ucdaz··on Ask HN: Does having the right corp lawyer help you find investors?
Any cons with large firms like Wilson Sonsini, meaning would they charge an arm and a leg once a startup gets funded?
ucdaz··on Ask HN: Does having the right corp lawyer help you find investors?
Thanks Paul. Oh and I know you like to eat cheese. Anyways, so should I be picky about which firm to go with? Does anyone have any good law firm recommendations in the Silicon Valley?

Now he knows how business owners feels to receive a bad review.
ucdaz··on Yelp and the Business of Extortion 2.0
Sites like yelp don't give value to the local businesses. A better solution is to allow the businesses to reply to the customer's post like a forum. My team and I are working on this right now and will be launching soon!
ucdaz··on Ask HN (+girlfriends): Review my site - RetailFans.com
You should have some sort of contest to get more ppl to sign up and create content. For example, the user with the most votes of the day wins X.

But the difference is that we allow the business owner to reply back to the same thread.

ucdaz··on Ask HN: How would you launch a Yelp-like site?
We're not building another review. It's a customer service site where you can leave a question, suggestion, discussion, praise, or issue for the small business. The small business owner can sort by these posts and reply to the thread.

We even mail your feedback on postcards for unclaimed businesses on FeedbackJar.

Think of us as Getsatisfaction.com for small businesses.

ucdaz··on Ask HN: Review our app, typd.in (a web-based Japanese IME)
I like how the UI is very clean and straight forward. Not sure if this technology will be used by the masses in the US. It would be a lot cooler if you allowed your users to type in special symbols like copyright or emoticons.
