If the MnA team of that XYZ company is willing to take the talks forward, just take things forward. People who have been through MnA can tell you easily that such processes like Acquihire or an Acquisition takes time. So keep at it, but also maintain a strictly professional relation with them in terms of paper work (Make sure you get an MOU signed before they talk investments/Acquisitions).

If they have something else in mind, openly ask them what is it that they want to explore with your company & see if it works & even if it doesn't works, launch your product anyway.

A friend to friend payment system in facebook messenger is a killer. Now i want to see what will be the move of all the p2p money sending apps, as many are coming up with it here in India. Excited to test it.

What i can suggest is that go the other way around. Instead of creating ads from your facebook page, Use your personal accounts to boost posts. I know its not the right way, but if you can create micro contents a basic QnA contest and other stuff that somewhere relates to your business through your facebook page & then share it from your personal accounts and then boost it it will surely give you a reach & Engagement you deserve.

Focus on micro content now. (Facebook has its own rules and we cant do anything) Also, explore Reddit for ads, there amazing sub reddits and you can target each of them that matches your app and create an add there. It only costs your $5 for 5000 impressions there. Try it.

I am not an expert, but as i can see, when they first started from Harvard in 2004, they restricted the access to only @harvard,edu address (must have had some sort of Java script validation to check and allow only that domain)and later when they expanded to diff universities the same validations must have been modified.

yes indeed, i agree that many times, what people referred as Small Bubbles, create a Huge dynamic impact on the world. The same is the case with Google. And for Apple, only Hats Off :)
