One thing I noticed after creating a simple button component was that it does not export the font family of the text within but that might be a Figma limitation.
I’m thinking it’s not possible for TikTok to take 70% of the proceeds if there’s App Store fees and sales taxes / VAT involved.
But please show me the math if I’m wrong.
You buy two coins for $0.02 and they give one diamond or $0.01 to the recipient. This looks like a 50% cut but after App Store fees and taxes it's more like 25%.
Still bad but not 70% as implied in the article.
You cannot built this kind of functionality without giving Google/Apple a 30% cut, plus they collect sales tax and VAT on your behalf.
I'll give you an example. If I sell an in-app purchase for a price of £1 in the UK, £0.17 go to the government, and £0.25 to Apple/Google. I'm left with £0.58!
It's not TikTok pocketing 70%.
Does the App Store accept any new dating apps at all? How high is the bar set for the definition of unique high-quality experience? I'd hate to invest time and money into creating an iOS app just to have it rejected.
I'll try to ask this question on October 17th in the App Store Slack channel they've created but I'm just wondering what you all think here.
EDIT: Seems to be a routing issue. I've enabled a UK VPN and it's working fine now.

They also run an awesome YouTube channel that is worth checking out:

I’m looking for a fully remote work opportunity. I love doing JavaScript and Node.JS Backend Development work and have almost 10 years of experience in it.

They're incredibly beautiful and I think a good alternative to diamonds:
I can't really answer your question but there's some videos of people doing portable solar: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=portable+solar+...

They generally have a tiered repair pricing model and I think minor issues like the flex cable would cost around the cheaper price you've been quoted for and replacing the whole display would be the higher price.

View.com was taken. They're selling windows, I mean actual glass not the OS.
I suppose running a blog with good content might be helpful so that someone might find the service using a search term like "video streaming api" or similar.
Someone woke up one day with a $8,000 bill while encoding videos:

There's also this pretty architecture overview in the repo:

In my opinion, it's too complex and I'd prefer a more simple solution to get to market faster.
Imagine adding just a few lines of code to get started instead of setting up all these things on AWS, where you might end up paying up to $0.12/GB for outgoing bandwidth as well.
