vvarp··on The new Firefox design is here
Sideberry is GOAT, nothing can beat its flexibility.

I wouldn’t really expect base experience to match what it offers, so as long as Firefox doesn’t break extensions for power users, I am more than happy to see them experimenting with stuff that could help to win back some of the audience.

Binary without source from unnamed author, that’s also happen to be called one of many experiments doesn’t really feel trustful or inviting.

idea is absolutely lovely, but it is really hard to plan ahead without consulting with google maps about possible directions from your next stop - I understand this is part of the challenge, however some QoL changes like visualizing 1st or 2nd tier connections could be super helpful

I'll be keeping an eye on this one!

Worth to note that PioSolver isn’t the only tool of its kind - there’s also Jesolver (http://jeskola.net/jesolver_beta/), which is speed optimized variant, and cloud-based Deepsolver (https://deepsolver.com) which leverages neural nets to do the job
vvarp··on Gitea – A community-managed fork of Gogs
As someone who's currently using gogs I'd like to know what are the primary differences between gogs and gitea - right now the website doesn't talk too much of benefits coming from the switch.

Sure, community managed sounds great, but does that automatically guarantee a solid project vision, predictable release cycle and lots of new features?

Don't want to sound negative but I think reasons for the fork needs to be clearly presented and potential switchers (like myself) got to be assured there's a better future with the fork rather than original
