I'd be suspicious of an article written by a Company about a study the Company conducted about a miracle cure developed by the Company and tested by the CEO of the Company.

This makes sense if you make the assumption that Big Bang theory is correct. In my opinion the theory has quite a few leaps of faith.

If we consider the possibility of infinitely old universe with no beginning or end, the answer is yes, most likely, but it's unlikely we ever know. Those strange blobs of light could very well be living, thinking things or parts of them, but everything that happens on their physical scale is so slow that we can only observe a mere snapshot of their state.

The booster never reaches orbit as it is on a ballistic trajectory

compact size.... bwahaha

My first question: Where are the vidyas? :D

no skype here yet (finland)

"they were able to hack into the Model S and hit the brakes"

This is bullshit right? They were able to disable the engine, but the onboard logic makes sure that the car comes to a gradual stop.

Why so many duplicates? For expample int nosys() is listed 185 times, each pointing to bsd/kern/subr_xxx.c

Hmm. Maybe someone can debunk this idea:

Could it have been some harmonic frequency of a terrestial lower frequency radio signal (such as 710MHz) that bounced off ionosphere?

That frequency range is currently assigned to mobile, but I suppose it could have been in TV/Broadcast use back then as it's right next to that spectrum.

TV broadcast truck?

Destined to succeed might make better english.

So where was the engine? All we saw was simulation of flow from a triangular area that wasn't shaped anything like an engine nozzle.

So yeah... was expecting an engine. Saw a 2-dimensional triangle. Dissappoint.

Same experience here. The first they scout you through your website, and act as if they had done some research, and drop the bait of free booth, then they "vet" you over Skype and later let you know you're a winner.

"By charging big companies big money we can offer promising startups like you this opportunity for free"

All you need to do is buy couple of tickets for 1500+ euros and the free booth is yours.

Ouch. But we've come this far, maybe it's worth a shot...

When you get to the place you realize it's 500 startups like you, crammed shoulder to shoulder. Very few investors around...

Profit's :D cringe at the Grammar's

Wonder if this is some kind of a hoax... Sounds a bit too good to be true to me. I would love to know How does the colouring work and what does it cost? If you throw in legos and whatnot how guaranteed is it to work with manufacturer X printer? Doesn't different plastics have different properties and don't these properties change if the plastic is melted over and over again?

What puzzles me is the timeframe presented. What is the point of starting production in 6 months if the gigafactory is not up yet, and TSLA is production constrained just making the car batteries?

I think the biggest fallacy in this rationalization is when it is assumed that advanced civilizations would want to expand like yeast; consuming everything, building dyson spheres... Why would they want that much energy, and why extract it from the sun? Trying to picture myself as one of these superlifeforms, I think would like to have the sun visible... For sunbathing and sh... plants to grow etc... Maybe they have built little fusion reactors wherever they need energy?

This one puzzles me:

"One of the leading hypotheses on Earth’s formation is that it was so hot when it formed 4.6 billion years ago that any original water content should have boiled off. "

So where would it actually have boil to? I thought gravity affected water also in gas state. Just like the atmosphere doesn't "boil off", why would the water?

Seems hoaxy to me. I reckon that kind of projection angles, and using sking instead of white projection canvas, would need a lot more juice than what you could store in a bracelet battery... Even if you could cram a projector into that size.

on my osx/chrome setup pieces disappear when they land.

I think many commenters here have been watching too much shark tank. The old ways of valuing a business based on past revenue work very badly for seed-stage software startups.

An integrated party lighting / video projection software that listens to music real-time and allows synchronization to different metrical levels.

Here I tutorial for some of the video control stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02TU6ysHIW4 The DMX lighting part is in progress.

All feedback is welcome.

I think the biggest problem is that they assumed that people would like to have this disposable bite-sized information internet spews at us printed on physical medium instead of being displayed in some corner of a screen somewhere where it belongs. The kind of stuff that will be irrelevant after you've read it once. Not economic. Cute thing though. I give you that.

"...to create an image via a rather complex mathematical process called a Fourier transform"

rotfl

how about doing collapse check only after all of blocks that appeared at the same time have landed?

This would allow combos even if the pile heights are different.

"biologically accurate neural network"

ROLF :D Seriously?

Hit me up with some evidence to back up that extraordinary claim.

"Would consider returning to school after the program is not exactly same as "plan on returning to school". Why not write honest headlines?

Which one of the girlfriends? Can you link to an article? Does she mention evidence? Did he leave a message or a note or anything?

I don't want to come off as a folio hat but what is the actual evidence of the suicide? Has any of this stuff been made public?

Would have been cool to know what actual algorithms the libs implement... So many sub bar ones out there.

Hate to be a naysayer, but I think you are reaching too high with this. Knowing how to cut videos in a meaningful way is not something that can be accomplished with current state of the art A.I as it requires a higher level of cognition. You need a human to tell what content is interesting.
