Pro-Israel organizations like this one suggest what you say is true: "Analysis: Riots Show the Price France Has Paid for Turning Against Israel" [0]

Someone who has no high value of Trump can find that art still disgusting and disrespectful

Feels so fresh to hear their CEO talk so openly and transparently of all the flaws their products still have. Sounds like he's someone very fun to work with.

Ask your grandparents about "Die große Dürre 1947" in Germany. Near entirely dried-up rivers and reservoirs, lakes three meters below normal, roughly half a million cattle emergency-slaughtered in Bavaria, hydroelectric shutdowns forcing power rationing, and forest fires along the Bavarian–Austrian border. Sure we have an all time high now, but currently there's still too much water as one could stick their head into the soil of the Elbe and Rhine.

Research past heat waves in Europe. Did your grand parents felt the same as you?

Being proud of your culture including your language and exercising it, at the risk of readers not understanding everything immediately, is not racism. In the worst case, a non-British gets curious about one expression or the other and looks it up. That's engagement.

With the USA and Israel tightening their intelligence agencies / secret service exchange, and now pulling in OpenAI -- that's a very effective strategy to exercise more worldly dominance

> to advance public policy with the primary and direct intent to restrict freedom of expression.

I'd love to see you proving this claim as I believe that's not what the party stands for.

Haters will now say that the far right will destroy exactly that: "our" democracy. The Western morality is a joke, and many HN readers comment like an infant. I feel ashamed.

Sorry, the linked article shared above is from 2024. Here's a more recent one with a much larger budget for their state propaganda:

Not sure if Russia, China and the others you mention spend more (totalled) than $730M?

Might be an attempt to correct history after the bad fact. There are huge budgets nowadays set up to correct public opinion, e.g. https://www.timesofisrael.com/foreign-ministry-to-receive-ma...

Edit: a more recent article mentions a budget of $730M:

Why self-censoring for using "hate" when it gets the message across quickly? Everyone understands that we use "hate" and "love" with huge levels of nuances. I personally said today to a colleague "I hate working from home" but it's clear that I'm not a racist against people who "love" remote work. We do work with a very lax work-from-philosophy.

How and when do your components update in such an architecture?

Ironic. Still quite an adventure. Thanks for sharing!

I read the entire post, very well written, and didn't suffer from that impression that it was written by an LLM

Talking about coding websites: I'm a seasoned dev who loves to be in control of the website code, but hates debugging nitty gritty layouting issues, which steal tons of time and attention. I want to progress fast building great landing websites for my tech products, with the same speed that I code the products themselves. What stacks and LLM tools (if any) do you recommend that help writing great looking websites with great SEO support... fast?

The FAQ items don't expand for me, on Android Vivaldi.

I use the Python package 'sorcery' [0] in all my production services.

It gives dict unpacking but also a shorthand dict creation like this:

    from sorcery import dict_of, unpack_keys
    a, b = unpack_keys({'a': 1, 'b': 42})
    assert a == 1
    assert b == 42
    assert dict_of(a, b) == {'a': 1, 'b': 42}

Very well written, thanks to the original author

What problem does that solve? Is it for developing and testing MCP servers locally before sharing/publishing them?

Before coding on the actual problem I usually start with a tiny refactoring of something that's related. That's my warming up sports before tackling the actual exercise. Works 100% for me.
