Will it be possible to integrate this with docker, so docker containers on Mac run more performance optimized?
zarazas··on PackagePhobia – Find the cost of adding a new dev dependency to your project
Tried uploading my package.json, but I got a 404, because of a local package, which is part of my monorepo. Would be good if it would ignore dependencies, where the version is: `"workspace:^"`

I am currently self hosting former gotrue, now supabase auth and am having a hard time implementing oath and will probably try to switch to better auth. The docs look super comprehensive.

zarazas··on Show HN: Chat with your data using LangChain, Pinecone, and Airbyte
What about the embedding?
zarazas··on Show HN: Chat with your data using LangChain, Pinecone, and Airbyte
I ak playing around with langchain the last days as well and when I checked right all langchain is really doing for you is giving you a guideline about recommended steps for a vector assisted LLM. In your example it actually just adds some text to the prompt like: "Answer the following question with the context provided here, If you dont find the right info dont make something up" sth. Along those lines

zarazas··on Show HN: An App/Browser extension to convert blog posts into audio
Hello HackerNews,

We are very excited to show you our first proper product. The idea was born out of the problem of too many open tabs with interesting posts and articles.

This is the initial launch and we have a lot more features planned, like the extraction of audio from youtube, translation of posts, embedded extraction button on common blog plattforms, etc.

I would be very happy if you would give it a try. We are happy about any kind of feedback.

zarazas··on Ask HN: Who's looking for a co-founder?
Hey HackerNews,

I am working on an inventory management system as a service.

Currently my friend is also already running an online shop, which is integrated with it and I am planning to provide this as a service to everyone, kind of like shopify.

The guy with whom I started, who was supposed to deal with everything non-technical is too caught up with his job, so I am looking for someone who could replace him. It's probably mostly sales/marketing.

This is the WIP landing page: https://inventhora.com

zarazas··on Show HN: A website to socialize through real life places/events
Hey people at HackerNews, I want to present to you my side project I have been working on for the past half year. It is supposed to be a website to share and find cool places and events in your area and connect with like-minded people through communities(chat-rooms). Hope you like it, feedback is always appreciated :)
