0xbeefeed··on BBC Modi Documentary Removal
I torrented it. Problem solved.
0xbeefeed··on India police detain students gathered to watch BBC documentary on Modi
You also have a brain. You can watch the documentary even if it is propaganda and draw your own conclusions.
0xbeefeed··on India police detain students gathered to watch BBC documentary on Modi
Ok Mr. Bhakt
0xbeefeed··on The myth of the myth of the 10x programmer (2020)
Seeing so many people calling THEMSELVES 10x here is both sad and funny.
0xbeefeed··on Ask HN: Modern C Libraries
I’d definitely choose C for such things because I want to know how things actually work, instead of doing a “cargo install” and then proceeding to read an API doc for two days.
0xbeefeed··on Helix: A Neovim inspired editor, written in Rust
You’re only saying this because it’s written in Rust, aren’t you?
0xbeefeed··on “Rust is safe” is not some kind of absolute guarantee of code safety
Well, this had to happen at some point. Rust-for-Kernel isn’t just a second language. It’s another culture. A culture that is in clash with kernel community. This project should be halted right now, instead of wasting thousands of man-hours only to be stopped later. There is no way these two cultures would go along for long.
0xbeefeed··on RootMyTV is a user-friendly exploit for rooting/jailbreaking LG webOS smart TVs
I’m doing this as well. Works great.
0xbeefeed··on Musk City – one coffee to change the world
Title should be changed to: “Sucking a billionaire’s dick at scale”.
0xbeefeed··on Why should I have written ZeroMQ in C, not C++ (2012)
It’s fun to see a bunch of nobodies criticizing one of the best programmers of our generation.
0xbeefeed··on The case against a C alternative
Here comes the Rust brigade…
0xbeefeed··on Ask HN: What are some good resources to learn safety-critical C/C++ coding from?
UGH! Why there’s always a Rust cult follower ruining every C thread with their “opinions”?
0xbeefeed··on Ask HN: How to effectively jam audio speakers?
1. Make bomb threats.

2. Occassionally call in SWAT for suspected sex trafficking or drug dealing.

3. Smear their entrance with literal dogshit covertly.

4. Destroy cars of the visitors. Start by simple scratching.

5. Leave bad reviews on Google.

6. Threaten families of owners.

7. Burn down the building.

0xbeefeed··on SMS phishing is way too easy
A lot of people in this thread saying SMS is bad for 2FA. It’s not. Just because you can send spoof the sender field doesn’t mean you can spoof being a receiver. Only the valid number will ever receive the 2FA code.
0xbeefeed··on Ask HN: What are your favorite examples of elegant software?
No, Rust sucks
0xbeefeed··on Ask HN: If I travel to China, does China have all of my iCloud data?
Or just don’t go to China
0xbeefeed··on Zellij – A Terminal Workspace and Multiplexer
I personally can't stand not having multiple tabs. Plus, it is fast, but it is not the "fastest" as it falsely claims. I prefer MacOS's default terminal.app over it.
