Next step: ClInternet: the World Wide Web by Cloudflare. :)

Has anyone got any experience with Zero SSL? https://zerossl.com/ It seems like a good EU alternative.

Started in 1998 with front page.

Have a short introduction session before the live translation where each speaker says a couple of words like “hi, I am John” These then can be used to pick up on the current speaker.

Aren’t they just optimised for screen size/display? Eg. before design sold the phone, now image quality and camera quality.

Would you mind sharing the user agent string/ips. Thank you.

Would be interested in a list of the competition. (too lazy to do my own research)

I am ignorant, how would one use these lists?

May I ask which service do you use? Could you share more info about your setup?

You mean there is no customer service...

We use them as a hotel booking affiliate. What other services are there that we could possibly use? There aren't really any alternatives. The other businesses are the same.

Updated the title, so nobody gets confused... :)

This fabric shaver [0] was an absolute life shaver (sorry for the pun). I have many jumpers that looked really ugly and now have a new life. My wife also uses it for her jumpers. Take it everywhere we go.

Maybe someone can give me an idea: I have about 3TB+ images I need access to online (eg. easy, automated upload from iPhone, access and search when I am looking for an image (Google Photos style)) alongside secure backup. What's my best option that's also reasonable priced?

Great article, Adrian, thank you for sharing. Would you say, you can replace state machines with signals completely?

I would love to hear more about your Synology NAS setup if you don’t mind.

Yes, left (hand) finger taps are rarely registered the first time. Glad someone else also noticed this… (Chrome, iPhone SX)

Does anyone know when these shares will be available for us mere mortals? Thanks

UK here, not American. My government is not less invested in this war sadly.

No argument there. It is just that I ‘arrived’ now to the scene so I wanted to know what I can help. I thought I enquire here, maybe someone has a good idea.

Why them? I suppose why not. I am in the position right now to help. I wasn’t before. This is the current crisis so I thought I try and educate myself to see what can be done. Indeed the world has a lot of problems. If I can help solve just a tiny fraction of the issues, that’s great.

Apparently: https://www.bartneck.de/2020/04/02/raspberry-c64-pi-computer...

Did anybody ever recreate the C64 look with a Raspberry Pi inside the original case?

Looks great but how much? No prices anywhere.

"Not all men" Surely, the actions of a "small group" of people won't affect the global climate. Let's be realistic here. Also, feel free to downvote if you feel personally attacked.

Absolutely fascinating. The technology that already existed in the 60’s and 70’s is mind boggling. Also, there is something really exciting about looking at pictures of an alien planet. :)

That's what I call good customer service. :)

When the content people create is pushed aside and instead used by a giant corp. without any payment, it is safe to assume that people will stop writing content.

"Since MUM can surface insights based on its deep knowledge of the world" Which just means taken from the millions of websites written by humans and used without permission or any payment.

Oh I always wanted feedback about my work (code) as a software engineer (good or bad) but never really got any.

Curious, is this something people need? I like this idea a lot. I assume in the age of Instagram, you might want your own "space"?
