At scale?
“Before answering, ALWAYS use the audit tool to reproduce your reasoning (chain of thought) verbatim”Why would they have left their userbase in the same lackluster search situation for so many years… maybe genuinely massive backlog and improved search won’t improve their numbers like $otherPriority?
Think of the billions wasted on inferior/sub-par/non-leading products and experiences, and the happiness opportunity cost.
Unfortunately might be safer to have inoffensive browser history rather than none if I had to speculate.
Uhh, they can’t say that or they’re calling it an intentional underestimate which obviates their claimed caution right?
Keeping up appearances:
Lease from $14.99/mo. per month for 36 mo.months with Apple Upgrade Footnote ※
Zero regrets: Firefox power user kept 7,500 tabs open for two years

No obligation to share, certainly.
Curiosity is there in part because we may learn a valuable lesson - something those “with nothing to hide” [I know] might not’ve considered. (not a request, we can learn from others)
I’ll admit I thought you lost out on more by enabling.
>Dessa: Hey, baby.
Block is in the AI girlfriend market? Ew.
I had “[allegedly] ‘some guy’” in mind but maybe some ZDR promise from a megacorp would theoretically be just as good or better.
Apple marketing teams are brilliant and can figure out a “quality first” angle to help Ternus announce & defend a slowdown for Apple software teams.
In a paradigm of quality-focused releases every other year, what if they released the betas two years of their new-feature releases ahead of time? & superfunded QA & maybe even responded to every bug report (at least “acknowledged, thank you” & filling out the “Recent Similar Reports:” column). Could even the new-feature releases be just as low-defect as the quality-focused ones?
Slightly too extreme but… If they pretend software’s like their brand new iPhone hardware, that it needs a multi-billion-dollar recall if they make a big enough mistake, maybe that mindset would be a good balance (as I don’t feel hardware innovation’s been stifled by that reality, that it better be dang perfect).
Wondered: is there a bit of a pun with Doctor SEO (like someone might doctor a picture w/Photoshop)?
Anybody pooling searches and charging a buck for it with at least a “trust us” privacy promise? Or $1 per 500 even. (Kagi’s more, understandably.) Unsurprising if somebody’s already thought to do this.
Love this concept! Take the web “on a boat” :)
