Reviving1514··on Show HN: Capsule – Single-file web apps that save their data into SQLite
Why not on a shared drive like dropbox?

Concurrent editing wouldn't work, though.

What provider are you using? I have it a shot through open router and saw some weird half formed words coming through occasionally, would love to switch over and give it a proper go

For now I just use hetzner storage share.

Reviving1514··on Rapid Validation of Product Concepts with AI
Put together a workflow for using AI to speed up product validation—research, branding, assets. Haven't tested it properly yet, writing it up so I don't forget.

The idea is I use AI generated assets to throw up a landing page and then see what actually performs well.

Are there other people doing the same thing or maybe even tools being built to do this all in one platform?

Sorry but buying sequences sounds interesting, how would one go about doing this?
Reviving1514··on Ask HN: What are your most regretted tech purchases?
This is so interesting, I used to use exclusively Samsung but bought a Motorola phone for travel and the experience was so good I got rid of my main Samsung and bought another Motorola.

I would be interested in learning what happened during COVID that led to this, if you have the time to talk about that. No worries if not, of course.

If I understand things correctly then my intuition for the answer to their mom's question would be gears wear out much less quickly than a clutch would if it were engaged all the time. Can anyone who knows more chime in?

Edit: ah wait no it's two multipliers isn't it, you're reducing overall power output when engaging the clutch?

To search through and get the information when you need later, or to start with rough headings and start filling it in over the project. Works well imo.

This is cool but also quite funny, thank you for sharing. Gives me something to think about.
Reviving1514··on TinyML: Ultra-low power machine learning
You are right I should definitely be looking into how to run these models as ints as well, especially with the C optimizations to micropython you would see a lot larger performance gains using ints compared to floats. Definitely need to find some time to try it!

On the other hand the tinyML library looks great too and if I was going to do this for a product that would likely be the direction I would end up taking just cause it would be more extensible and better supported.

Thank you for the links!

I ended up hand rolling a custom micropython module for the S3 to do a proof of concept handwriting detection demo on an ESP32, might be interesting to some.
