ababab··on Distributed Performance Testing in the Cloud with JMeter and AWS
>Also, could we stop using the term 'slave' to refer to distributed compute or storage nodes?

Agreed, I still stick with the old Loadrunner nomenclature "loadgen"

ababab··on DevDocs API Documentation
I'd use this if they ever add testing-related docs like JMeter, gatling, taurus, cucumber, selenium, etc.

I'm not a Finder power user, but when I use it I always run into the same problem: I can't ever open Finder and make my way to a specific directory (e.g. ~). I work around it by opening a terminal and navigating there and doing `open .`. Is there something I'm missing? TL;DR: How can I open Finder and go to any specific directory I want?
ababab··on Analyzing JMeter Application Performance Results
Taurus sort of does this. http://gettaurus.org/
ababab··on Poll: What is your main focus?
Testing/Quality should be an option.
ababab··on Why not kill -9 a process?
Shouldn't that explanation be by followed by 'in order to request the termination of the process'?

ababab··on Questions to ask your potential employer
Could you expand on what you mean by assert-driven testing? I'm not finding any good explanations from a Google search. Sounds interesting.
ababab··on New Delicious
Years ago, Delicious used to have the killer feature. Nowadays, Google's Chrome Sync and Pocket adequately keep my bookmarks alive.
ababab··on Federal workers who check their e-mail during shutdown will be breaking the law
Not for the government, but I know some coworkers who do the same thing. Terrible idea to not completely decouple work and personal technology. There's no recovery process you couldn't achieve with a google, live, and yahoo account.
ababab··on This coupon code is a slap in the face
I have no affiliation, but I'll plug this awesome Chrome add-on[1] for finding discount codes at checkout. I'm not one to go actively hunting for discounts, and this has saved me probably tens of dollars since installing.

ababab··on Digg Reader Rollout
Here's a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/beNrvCU.png

My initial thoughts are that it's dead-simple (not what I had expected) with minimal functionality. The only feature I requested in my survey was to add a Mark All As Read -> Older Than A Day option.

I'm not too fond of the excessive whitespace in the reading pane. It could just be my browser.

ababab··on Google Reader Apocalypse Extremely Fucking Nigh
FWIW, I started a vague attempt to round up the alternatives:
