That sounds like your housekeeper's key...
What does this even mean? They're ranked by metrics that are assumed to be a proxy for quality, but (a) the accuracy of those proxies varies widely and (b) the ranks are relative; if a result is no longer in the response pool the fact that it would have been higher quality is invisible. Consider the year where anyone who's profile had been tagged as a software developer couldn't find any information on tost rings for sailplane towing because the "autocorrection" to toString was so strong that no mechanism besides logging out gave any relevant results; there's always crap like this going on.
It doesn't /inherently/ return better search results, but Google is many years into an intensive project to make their search results so bad that even a magic eight ball, let alone a moderately advanced AI, can do better.
What terms do you propose? What adjudication?
CFD, for me. Depends on how you segment the domain, but the speed hit can be significant.
"We had the genius idea of taking a linear actuator and wrapping it into a circle... let's call it a 'normal motor'!"
There’s plenty of laptops with 99.9 Wh batteries already… and more than that is challenging to travel with by air, restricting the market drastically.
Look at the THVD8000 for some ideas here. Not a part I would directly recommend (size), but shows just how easy power+data over a single twisted pair is, with an oscillator on the send side to generate the data signal and an envelope detector on the receive side. You can get fancy here... but the magic is that you don't need to.
- They never came back down.
- Diet soda and seltzer prices spiked too.
To "b" or not to "b". Apparently the latter.
Models with tool access (and internet-connected tools like curl) can, though… is this really a useful distinction?
This is why I've never gotten any of the more recent consoles (since the N64 or so)... many of my friends have them, and every time we try to turn them on to play a game they start updating and rebooting and updating... I can play games on my computer, which I have other incentives to keep up to date, so the maintenance time is amortized; just double click and it works.
How does this apply to the topic of this thread? Samsung is, if anything, much more tech-savvy (tech-adjacent?) than Meta. Meta just does some high-level software and runs a few servers to host it. Samsung, across the company, builds every level of the hardware and software stack from silicon to services.
Shout "six seven" and look over the shoulder of the twelve-year-old who magically appears?
This exists, doesn't it? "Block channel" (or rather, "Don't recommend channel") is probably the feature I use most... I must have thousands of thousands of channels on that list.
The alternative is "Not Interested", but at least on AppleTV you're forced to then choose either "I've already watched the video" or "I don't like the video", and I have literally no idea what to do with those choices. If I've already watched the video then the reason I'm saying I'm not interested is because I didn't like it, so both are true, but I can't select both; and if I just don't like the clickbait thumbnail or title I haven't watched it and I don't know if I like the video itself, so neither is true, but I can't select neither...
Every time I think about YouTube's interface it becomes more obvious it's made by people (?) who's brains just don't work like mine...
Depends on the Ethernet variant. Older versions have collision detection as you describe. More recent versions are point-to-point full-duplex and thus collision free, with the outlier of 10base-T1S, which uses a virtual token ring for collision avoidance.
This depends heavily on where you live. I recall it used to be true, but in the three places I've spent significant time since the pandemic, all three have been less than 50% on time -- and less than 75% even giving an extra day. Because there's apparently no consequences for the last-mile delivery contractors to claim a package is delivered and not actually take it out of the truck until the next week, your local contractor determines your experience.
