Assuming children do not spread covid-19 as much as adults, it would be fair to say they still do spread at some degree. Therefore, the question is what is the risk tolerance that is acceptable to society? Are we as a society willing to accept that some adults will be infected and/or die as a result of children going to school? What's the acceptable risk tolerance for teachers? If there is an assumption that some teachers will die, how many is too many?

I work remote from a quiet neighborhood with dedicated office. I’m still distracted half the time with other things and often get bored sitting in my office by myself. I wander around the house a lot — which is full right now with kids remote learning.

It can be used to decrypt other's files as long as there is physical access to the device and the user's passcode. This was published as a result of the Bezo's phone examination report, where the author stated it was impossible to decrypt the media file. A claim that was largely refuted by the digital forensics community.

It's to keep my logs cleaner. It doesn't add any security value since the port is still open. I don't allow password auth. I was just always annoyed with how many times port 22 was getting hit everyday by attackers.

I can't either, in fact all 10+ of the hosts that I routinely access have ports higher than OPs issue.

I would also assume the ‘dummy’ operating system wouldn’t have much activity. Since the user would be using the hidden OS. So that coupled with the unaccounted for space would raise more flags.
