And a Pony!

Reminds me of this blogpost from 20(!) years ago: https://blog.codinghorror.com/and-a-pony/

avh3··on LLM=True
Author here. Thanks for flagging. Let me look into it
avh3··on Everybody Hates Timesheets
thank you :)
avh3··on Client-side filtering of private data is a bad idea
The title reads like: "Why jumping from a bridge is a bad idea". Does this needs to be stated?
avh3··on Ask HN: Those who've joined a friend's startup as an employee, how did that go?
We had a nice run for a year and a half. Learnt a lot during that time, including management and people skills (had to train junior developers as well). It was a fun time with highs and lows. Too bad the company didn't make it. It didn't ruin any friendship, so all good in the end.
avh3··on 'Sunspot archipelago' 15 times wider than Earth could soon bombard us
If want to check some sunspot images interactively, you can visit helioviewer.org

From the left sidebar menu, select: Observatory: SDO Instrument: HMI Measurement: Continuum

You can play around with the dates on top to see it move to the center of the sun (almost there!)

avh3··on What the QWAC? An EV Certificate all over again
Right? I came here to look for potential remedies when this goes through. Forking browsers sounds like a good solution. Or am I missing something?

I enjoyed reading your blogpost. Thanks for sharing!
avh3··on Testing React Apps in 2022 with Cypress: An In-Depth Guide for Beginners
I liked https://testingjavascript.com/ from Kent.C.Dodds a lot. It has a separate chapter on Cypress testing. Not sure if it qualifies as advanced, since he also start from scratch. But Kent always has fast-paced videos, so you won't be skipping lots of sections...
avh3··on Show HN: Anno – Effortlessly annotate and comment on videos/audio
Some time ago, I've build an MVP around the exact same idea (although without the audio tagging). It's also free to use, and can be found at https://proofing.io

I can tell you up front, nobody seems interested in the 'annotations' part (drawing on the video). Only text notes seem to be used. Of course, this is only a limited view from our side. Maybe you guys see different results.
