bakql··on Reddit CEO says chatbots are not a traffic driver
If I use a chatbot it’s precisely to avoid going to your website. Have you tried using it from a mobile device without an account and ad blocker? You will quickly understand why people don’t want to go to your website.
bakql··on Stop 'reactions' to email by adding a postfix header (2024)
This seems like a convoluted way of adding a new header, at least compared to the http servers I know. Why is that? Maybe postfix is not the appropriate place to make this change and that’s why there’s no option to just add a new header?
bakql··on A secret to never forgetting numbers
I always use the lockers in a specific part of the locker room and since we’re meant to bring our own padlocks I just look for mine. No need to memorise anything.

Which btw made me realise cheap padlocks all open with the same key - imagine my surprise when I opened a locker that had the same padlock as mine with my key and found that the stuff inside was not mine. Mine was a couple lockers next to it!

bakql··on Studies increasingly find links between air pollutants and dementia
Those exposures are completely unrelated to the burner used in the kitchen.
bakql··on Nutella maker in hazelnut stand-off with Turkish dealers
Yep. Just like Kiev.
bakql··on US will not send officials to COP30 climate talks
> Also The German Physics Society and the German Meteorological Society issued a joint statement warning about the possibility of 3 °C warming by the 2050s[2]

All the glaciers will have disappeared too by then. Pinky promise.

bakql··on Ask HN: Do you have an aversion to recent TLDs?
Of course there’s a legitimate reason: when you want to buy a domain for your product using one of the old TLDs, it’s likely to be taken already, which means you’ll have to pay a significant sum for it, which means your project is serious.
bakql··on AI scrapers request commented scripts
Stop your http server if you do not wish to receive http requests.
bakql··on AI scrapers request commented scripts
>These were scrapers, and they were most likely trying to non-consensually collect content for training LLMs.

"Non-consensually", as if you had to ask for permission to perform a GET request to an open HTTP server.

Yes, I know about weev. That was a travesty.

bakql··on Warp Terminal changes pricing model
It's not "a terminal", it's a terminal with AI features that cost money to run. I understand you may not be interested in them, but let's not pretend that burning GPU power comes for free.
