It’s been terribly unreliable in my experience (Bing) so I’m not surprised that it’s not getting wider adoption. Half the time I try to interact with it, it just resets the conversation randomly. Other times I can’t even get it to open without closing all running Edge processes from task manager first. It just seems the most buggy and half baked of all the major AI.

They are even matching the internal resistance of the cells, I can't think of much more a professional manufacturer would be doing. As long as they are getting their cells from reputable sources (big if) I don't see anything wrong with a boutique battery industry for niche applications.

I was at RIM during this time and it was an absolute shitshow. It took so much in-fighting to get RIM to even address the iphone, so many people thought it was a passing fad and would never get polished enough to be a real competitor, despite the fact it was already destroying marketshare.

But even then, there wasn't enough buy in from the company at large with the device, and it was certainly rushed, I think almost intentionally to try to prove the point of how "bad" touch only phones were going to be.

Proof of Stake starts out with a large amount of coins being generated out of thin air. These are then distributed, and owners add nodes to the network by locking in a portion of their coins as their "stake".

The nodes perform transaction verification, and over time a reward block is built out of the transaction fees involved. This is awarded to a psuedorandomly selected node weighted by stake.

It's also easy to discount someone's arguments by writing them off as an "entrenched artist" and implying their opinion is invalid and old fashioned.

The problem at least for me between .com and .ca, is that they seem to be fundamentally different sites with their own separate arrays of sellers and products that can be quite different from each other. The big factor here is that casino's specifically forbid the use of devices intended to affect the outcome of the game. You go to a casino, you have to play by their rules. If not, they can argue you are attempting to defraud them.

Counting cards is a much better example of "playing smart", and it is not actually illegal - although casinos will ban any player they suspect to be counting they will likely not be charged with a crime. It's not really intended to replace full scale machines but it is a big step up from the cheaper imaging solutions available in the past. It is ideal for "first aid" style situations, and will probably see widespread adoption in ambulances soon enough.

I can corroborate; I have the new 15", 2.6Ghz version and spent the weekend before last playing Civ while travelling. With the brightness settings on low, native resolution and all game settings on low, it took 1 hour and 26 minutes for it to go from 100% to shutting itself off.

I was just as surprised as you are. The laptop got uncomfortably hot as well. I was very disappointed and had to purchase an inverter on the road to use my adapter.

As mentioned by others in the thread, deleting it would just make it possible for someone to take it over the open it again. Setting the community to private not only solves the issue, but it allows them to bring it back in its current state at any time if they wish to in the future.

Avatar did the same sort of thing for their music video for Torn Apart as well. They had a bunch of 'pro' wrestlers put on an over the top bar brawl while they did the song backwards, then reversed the footage for the video.
